I don't know HOW I earned this reputation as some VAPID SLUT who would switch their name on a WHIM just because the most beautiful man ever known to mankind happens to have the name I desire. I just don't know how we got to this. :(

Recently got back into watching this again :( I keep doing this. Dipping in and out of this.

Some of the new additions are amazing (Penny, Oliver and Judith). Lesley Ash's character is useless though - I demand a return for the amazingness that was Jayne.

Gonna be a bit of a struggle without Ric and Connie for a while though I think. After this whole Joseph/Faye thing is over hopefully some proper storylines will kick in for some of the others. Isnt Patsy leaving soon? Or did I imagine this... Im actually feeling rather sorry for Lauren tbh, I realise no one else does but not her fault she mixed them up :(

Chrissie's annoying me tbh, I cant help but feel it's time to leave permanetly. Maria's becoming a bit wet aswell, that miracellous recovery was a bit Neighbours/Hollyoaks esque wasnt it.

Liking Thandie's return, would have prefered Lola mind. Hope she sticks around and looking forward to Ric & Connie's reaction to her when they return.

Where is Annalesse? Not seen her in ages. Is she actually coming back?

Generally though the likes of Jac, Elliott, Donna, Penny, Linden (he's grown on me) are still making it a great show.

03. Faye is leaving soon yep and I think it's the right time to go, much as I'm one of her few supporters.

05. Maria's recovery was a total shambles but at least she's not suicidal anymore! I did love her friend Sunita. How sad that she had to go and pop it.

06. Thandie's return thus far has been completely pointless.

07. Annalese is coming back, pretty soon apparently! I never used to like her but I really can't wait for her to come back for some bizarre reason. Maybe I just like tall women.

 

I do think it's going through a bit of a dull patch these past couple of months and it's definitely hurting from the lack of Connie particularly but I still love it because being a part of it IS MY DREAM.

Penny really is perfect, the direct replacement for Maddy :wub: Oliver was a bit weak to start off with, dipped out of viewing when he started getting things to do I suppose. He does rather seem to be going round in circles storyline wise though but so are most of them.

I've always rather liked Faye to be honest. Chrissie i've always been impartial too, she always seems to be leaving soon or returning and recently just a bit up herself. Mark I adore though :wub:

I like Thandie but they should have at least kept some of her 2006 persona, she's a bit too nice atm.

I wasnt massive about Annalise either, but really I dont think I watched enough episodes of her to make an impression.

 

Yeah, im looking forward to the end of the current Joseph/Faye storyline to be honest. And hoping for thins to start picking up again soon. Wonder what they'd have to do to get Sharon D Clarke back?

Chrissie and Penny are the two whom i always adore and i cant stand oliver.

I know hardly anyone will use this thread but I just watched this week's episode and it was so good.

Strictly star Joe McFadden's character Raf was killed off.

Ir was a very good episode, very intense and shocking

I don't know if Steven (Fletch's Dad) is trustworthy played by Jesse Birdsall who played Fraser Black in Hollyoaks. I feel like he might let Fletch down at some point.

An powerful episode today which will be focusing on Sacha and his mental health.

Just what Meena needs: more guilt and trauma piled on top of feelings of loneliness and isolation. Poor Roxanna. I’ve just started warming to her, so I hope she doesn’t die.

Gosh that was an episode and a half. Gaskill is certainly living up too his name. I love that Holby sometimes do different episodes.

What a powerful and sad ending for Roxanna, hope Gaskill gets found out soon.

Enough already with Gaskell. Can we hurry up and end this storyline.

Hopefully that is the end of Gaskell.

It’s not on screen again now until July but wtf.

 

Talk about a twist. (Ok I did imagine something may happen to Xavier but I didn’t think it would be him getting knocked down by a bike and then dying).

 

I also love the character of Max. She may well be a miserable, pain in the a*** who’s an awful mother and a hypocrite but I think that’s the point of her and she does play the part well. I’m looking forward to delving more into her backstory as I imagine at some point she may become more warm.

 

Also Essie better win her cancer fight!

I only really started watching this a year ago, having watched Casualty for about 15 years now but really starting to love it.

 

Gutting it’s off air until July but a very good place to end it on really as it’s such a cliffhanger

He’s not a panto type villain more of a screwed up type villain but he’s interesting for sure.

 

I can see him being killed off by suicide tbh as part of his exit though. He won’t be able to handle himself at all in jail and it would fit his character to do the more cowardly thing and avoid facing proper justice in the forum in form of jail.
