Robbie Williams 'Buzzing' About New Album

He speaks about 'Rudebox' follow-up...

The former Take That star told the Sun newspaper he was “positive” about the record, adding: “It sounds ‘Big’, very. I’m buzzing.”

Williams, who is working with producer Trevor Horn, is reported to have written 50 songs for the album.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Williams has repeatedly been linked with a return to his former band over recent weeks.

But Take That's Gary Barlow said earlier this month that Williams would not reform with the band.

Williams' last album, 'Rudebox', was released in 2006.

 I like the bit where it says he told the Sun Newspaper

in other words they read Robbies blog just like the rest of us ^_^

More Take That

Take That and former band mate Robbie Williams are to collaborate together on an official biography, it’s been reported.

Both parties are understood to have signed a six figure deal for a two volume book, which also includes photographs.

Take That and Williams parted company in 1996, but both acts have since achieved fame on their own.

“The guys have wanted to do a book for a long time but it was important that the timing, as well as the creative idea, was right,” a spokesman told The Sun newspaper.

“They’re looking forward to producing a fantastic collector’s piece with imagery spanning almost two decades and comment which is honest and personal.”

It is thought the book will cost £25. A release date has been set.

Take That: The book

(Tuesday April 21, 2009 09:54 AM)

A book chronicling the career of Take That is in the pipeline, according to reports.

The two volume compendium will see the current members collaborate with Robbie Williams, who has long been linked with a return to the group.

The official biography is expected to include a significant selection of photos from across the pop act's career.

A spokesman explained: "The guys have wanted to do a book for a long time but it was important that the timing, as well as the creative idea, was right.

"They're looking forward to producing a fantastic collector's piece with imagery spanning almost two decades and comment which is honest and personal."

There is currently no release date for the book.
