Not a bt surprised...we were always big spenders & shag tomorrow....

we found out recently that the banks were in debt to the tune of 90 Billion & we the taxpayers have to bail them out ( the bast*rd* )......it had got to the stage before Xmas that there was agreat danger that if you went to a pass machine & stuck your card in you would have got nothing out....

if that happened in Bolivia or somewhere the Gov would have been shot & rightly so....

Hope your budget is better than ours.... :o

Walsh: 'Williams tried to intimidate me'

Thursday, April 23 2009, 11:30 BST

By Mayer Nissim

Louis Walsh has claimed that Robbie Williams attempted to intimidate him after their public war of words.

The X Factor judge made the allegations during the recording of tonight's episode of ITV2's The Justin Lee Collins Show, The Mirror reports.

Walsh said: "He came up to me with loads of minders and asked me what I said. He was trying to intimidate me so it wasn't nice."

In 2002, Walsh described Williams as "Mr Karaoke" after the former Take That singer's criticism of reality talent shows, which led Williams to suggest that Walsh wanted to both manage and sleep with him.

Robbie Williams comes to the rescue of young footballers

Monday, April 27, 2009, 09:20

KITTED OUT: Pop star Robbie Williams has come to the rescue of footballers left shivering on the touchline.

The Give It Sum charity started by the Potteries star has donated enough cash for the youngers from Newcastle Albion's under-10s team, pictured, to be kitted out in cosy coats and jumpers.

And at the weekend they were VIP guests at Port Vale where they were presented with the clothing.

Club secretary Kerrie Bradbury said: "We were delighted that our application for funding from Robbie's fund was successful.

"In all we received £650 which allowed us to buy the coats and jumpers we needed because when we play seven-a-side the youngsters can get bitterly cold waiting round for their turn to play.

"Many of them are Vale fans so it was a double thrill for them to see the club behind the scenes."

The donation will also pay for team coach Andrew Edmond to attend a Football Association coaching course.

Ayda lay off the coffee, Rob

OVER the past few years ROBBIE WILLIAMS has spent more time with a cup of coffee in his hand than a microphone or musical instrument.

And he was snapped clutching another caffeine-packed pick-me-up on Sunday, strolling into LAX airport, Los Angeles.

The pop king dressed down in baggy jeans and a flat cap with girlfriend AYDA FIELD by his side.

Rob revealed last week his eagerly-awaited eighth album is shaping up well and could be the best he’s made.

Send a copy soon Rob, I’m all ears...

If it is Rob, then he's cut all his hair off again!

but yea, it def looks like Ayda, but not Rob. Weird...

IE drive through VW deal

17:30 | Thursday April 30, 2009

London-based artist management company IE Music has partnered with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles to provide a fleet of VW minibuses for artists’ tours.

The deal will see acts including Robbie Williams, Archive and Ladyhawke using the buses, while Sia is set to drive a custom-designed classic VW minibus.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles enters into the official partnership after developing a close relationship with IE through providing vans for the Robbie Williams Close Encounters Tour in 2006.

Sia will be among the first of its acts to benefit from the tie-up, touring with a custom-designed black 1978 T2b Kombi, which was revamped and given a new paint job by Volkswagen’s Old Timers unit.

Fans will be encouraged to report sightings of her bus via Twitter, and upload photos to her Twitter page. They can also enter competitions to win prizes including the chance to meet Sia and to drive a VW Multivan for a month.

IE co-founder Tim Clark says, “The challenging global economic conditions and changing commercial environment mean that relationships with forward-thinking partners are key in creating innovative ideas and campaigns to help artists reach out to and grow their fan bases. The campaign with Sia and her superb custom VW Bus is a perfect example of that
