April 6, 200917 yr Author The Saturdays get ready for Easter This week the girls launch a brand new Easter Egg competition with their weekly video message. We don't want to ruin the surprise of what you could win so check out the clip to find out!!!!! But we can tell you that it's hot and any Saturdays' fan will want to get their hands on! We also have some Q and As from the girls on their way. The girls get decorating Every day next week we will be posting a different clip showing one of the girls decorating an egg for another. We want you to guess who you think each egg is for. Simple, right? We've got something a little bit special to give away, a chance to meet the girls on your selected tour date!!! We'll be announcing the winners in next Saturday's mailer so make sure you tune in then to see who won and who received each egg! Tour Update There have also been a few slight amendments to the Work Tour this summer. First up, due to massive demand we are adding another TWO dates to the girls' diary. They'll now be bringing the party to... 3rd June – Dundee Caird Hall 5th July – Grimsby Auditorium Tickets are onsale NOW! Click here and we'll take you through to the box office. There are also a few changes to some of the dates... Nottingham RCH will be on 6th July Glasgow Clyde will be on 2nd June Manchester Apollo will be on 7th July Tickets remain valid for all customers. This week we posted a brand new flip of the girls backstage at Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. The girls introduce you to Presley and George, Nick attempted to beat the girls in a backcombing hair showdown and Rochelle did her best impression of the team who help the band. April 11, 200917 yr Author Saturdays' Easter Egg competition! In a week of Easter-inspired fabulousness, we've been posting daily Easter Egg clips in the video section. Each clip features one of the girls decorating an egg, and we've been asking you to guess which member of the band they're decorating it for. Tricky, you might think! But as you might have noticed, the girls gave LOTS of clues away! And if you didn't enter, well the yolks on you (sorry, we had to get that in!) because you've passed up a chance to MEET THE SATURDAYS backstage on their 'Work Tour'! The girls will be picking five winners at random and we'll be announcing in next week's mailer! Happy Easter everyone! Saturdays join T4 on the Beach! Yesterday we officially announced that The Saturdays will make their festival debut at T4 on the Beach on Sunday, 19th July! The Weston-super-Mare-based event attracts some of the biggest names in pop with the likes of The Zutons, Sugababes, The Ting Tings and Adele going down a storm last year! And with The Saturdays, Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal already on the bill for 2009, it looks like this year's T4 on the Beach won't disappoint! April 18, 200917 yr Author One Big Saturday!!! It's just been announced that the girls have been added to the line-up for this year's Radio 1 One Big Weekend. We try to go behind the scenes of a photo shoot in this week's mailer video but as you'll see got interrupted and also we've added more flips to the Video gallery including a clip where the girls all tell you something you might not know about them. The Saturdays go into fashion! But first this week, we bring you news of how the girls are moving into the world of fashion! Yes, they have hooked up with one of the hottest labels on the planet right now, RARE and will be bringing you ten dresses in an exclusive collection. Coming out in June, the limited collection will consist of two pieces for each member of the band, enabling fans to wear clothing designed by their favourite 'Saturday'. The girls say, "We absolutely love fashion and having the chance to design our own collection is brilliant. Our relationship with Rare started with Mollie's yellow dress in our 'If This Is Love' video, so it's great that we now have our very own range." Pre-orders for Rare by The Saturdays will be taken via www.rarefashion.co.uk from 1st May 2009. One Big Weekend This week www.thesaturdays.co.uk announced that the girls have just been added to the bill for this year's Radio 1 One Big Weekend. The girls will be opening the proceedings on er...SATURDAY, of course! The weekend festival this year comes to Swindon's Lydiard Park on 9th May. For all the info on the event click here. The Saturdays get Fabulous! The girls planned to take you behind the scenes of their photo shoot for Fabulous Magazine. Well, sadly, unknown to the girls, after deleting most of their footage a well known member of The Saturdays' team took over the flip cam to send a different kind of message to all you Saturdays fans. Be warned... this footage is officially UNOFFICIAL!!! Other new videos from the girls... We also added other new videos to the Music & Video Section on www.thesaturdays.co.uk. You can check out flips from the girls as they circle Piccadilly Circus looking for their Comic Relief ad, they attend the press launch of the Royal Parks Marathon and also reveal the odd random fact about each other. Lastly this week, 'Work' has just been pushed back so that you'll now have to wait that little bit longer.
