June 19, 200619 yr Indeed, one of my favourite bands of all time. I love Rotten's whole philosiphy (sp?).
June 20, 200619 yr yep.... went out and bought 'never mind the bollocks', and wore a 'nmtb' badge on my wooly hat, and promptly got myself banned from the local shop! lol.

June 22, 200619 yr ......... that was in 1977, before you were born! besides you no nothing about my life! :P these days you'd probably be able to cellotape your bollocks to woolworths and nobody would bat an eyelid. is it true they got off the bollocks naughty word prosacution by saying its another word for vicar?
June 22, 200619 yr no they got off because some wag found out that 'bollocks' was a slang term for small things, a collection of small objects. ie not vulgar mind you id like to know what the saxons (its a saxon word) meant by it!

August 5, 200618 yr yes, i like them. they're a great band. i love the whole attitude of punk. did anybody go to see them perform in finsbury park in 1997 ?

August 6, 200618 yr The Sex Pistols were certainly a great band and should be credited with helping create a whole Cultural revolution in this country the fallout of which is still felt to this day, but in terms of actual music and Political suss, I'd have to say The Clash were the better band, Strummer was by far the better lyricist than Rotten... Also, I would say that musically Johnny's other band Public Image Limited were vastly superior and were much more adventurous... But Johnny's whole attitude and philosophy is pretty spot on, he does not take fools gladly and he's got a very keen built-in Bull-sh!t detector that can smell c**p a mile off..... I'd love to see what Mr Rotten has to say about rent-a-quote gob$h!tes like Lily Allen....
October 24, 200618 yr Also, I would say that musically Johnny's other band Public Image Limited were vastly superior and were much more adventurous... rules of attraction had rise on the sound track, was building up great in that film, wanted it to continue. think i might get the dvd
