Originally Mick Jagger's long suffering girlfriend with an angelic voice, whom after a near fatal drug addiction problem reinvented herself as a critically acclaimed alternative singer and sometimes songwriter whose voice was more similar to Keith Richards'.

Were any of you fans of this artist or did you regard her as the Rolling Stones' (i.e. token female protegee) Cilla Black?

Never really liked her much at all, I would struggle to name any song she ever sang, if you hadn't posted them.
'this little bird' , 'summer nights' , 'come stay with me', all great 60's girly tracks .... prefered her 60's material but imho she is a VERY underrated act. remembered for the mythical mars bar incident <_< there was much more to her, appearing on tv in sitcoms like 'ab fab'.
I would actually say that her career defining song was As Tears Go By.
