Posted June 19, 200619 yr Cheeky Monkeys use fake ID Indie rockers Arctic Monkeys have had to purchase fake IDs in a bid to down booze while on tour in the states. All band members are aged between 19 and 20, while the legal drinking age in the U.S is 21. Refusing to accept their sorry plight the Sheffield based band purchased fake IDs from students at one of their gigs. Guitarist Jamie Cook told the Daily Star: "We've all had to buy fake ID cards for ourselves off a couple of students at one of our gigs. It's either that or don't go out and get stuck in, which isn't really on. "We've got away with it so far and no one's questioned us at the bar, even though the pictures on them don't look like us at all." Published: Pipex.com

June 20, 200619 yr I'm not saying Cookie is the sharpest tool in the box, but fact is he says things like this because he genuinely doesn't give a f***, which I think is pretty funny some times.
