Have recently got back into watching this again, just in time for it all to end :(

 

It's kind of sad really; one of the biggest TV shows in recent history, but it's barely noticed anymore, particular here in the UK.

Although I still enjoy it, it's probably the right time for it to finish. They've lost most of their core characters; Parminder Nagra (Neela) is currently billed as the lead, whilst she's good, I don't think she (or any of the current cast) can quite match the popularity of Carter, Greene, Weaver, Abby, Kovac, Corday etc.

 

 

 

The big series finale features all of the current cast, aswell as a handful of old big names who make their return for it. They've also brought back the old (PROPER) theme tune for the final episode, so spoilers in the video below as to who returns for it...

 

 

 

 

 

So does anyone else still watch this, or is it just me? :(

I used to love ER so much, but for some reason i didnt enjoy the last series. Although, had i known there was going to be only one more series after that, i would have paid more attention :( . This series, for whatever reason, they couldnt even be bothered to show on channel 4, how annoying and silly after its been shown on channel 4 since it started. I think the slots on more 4, or wherever clashed with something else and since i couldnt be bothered to record and watch later, ive missed the whole thing :huh:. Anyway since i once loved it lots, im hoping to buy this (and last) series on DVD when its out and enjoy it once again. Cant believe its all over though :cry:.

It's not totally finished yet, I think they're only half way through the season so you could catch the last half on the 4 On Demand website?

Wont make sense from the middle :(. Thanks for the suggestion though, will have to keep an eye out for a DVD ;)

prob the only series i have watched from the beginning. what i like about it is the way its been filmed, the speed, the story lines and characters.

my "old" fave's were: carol, mark, kerry and john and my current fave's are abbey, luka and sam.

i'm actually quite sad to see this series end. i've never missed an episode.
