Hi. I've been having a problem with Windows Movie Maker since yesterday. It has never happened to me before. Maybe someone has an idea what's the matter.

I want to put a song into Youtube and enter it in the contest. However, the sound on it only plays once in Movie Maker. When I try to play it again, it only shows the picture I put in and no sound. When I save the file, also, no sound in Windows Media Player. I read some peoples' advice online, but it didn't help. I even tried to import the song into Movie Maker from my iPod, but I have the same problem. Please help if you can. This song doesn't exist on Youtube and I really want to enter it to see what happens. Thanks.

It's a corrupt file... there's nothing you can do other than download a different one, you could try One True Media http://www.onetruemedia.com/ upload the song and a picture, and download it, and put it on youtube.

I tried a different song too, the same thing happens with the other song.

Well close it, re-do it but don't play the music, then save it.

I solved it. Video is up in Youtube! :D It worked when I added the song again, didn't play it and saved it straight away. Strange though that it works that way. It used to not do that.

That also happens to me :(
