#17 is very poor for a GH collection, I was very surprised when I saw it as I thought it would be nearer the Top Ten. If it falls out of the Top 20 by Sunday, we can confirm it an official flop IMO.

i think the wednesday midweeks will give a better indication as to where it will chart on sunday

just read in the chart forum dannii isnt even top 50 in the midweeks with so under pressure,,,loks like the ones who like the track could well be buying the album,,,,

 

checked hmv also and they have a single cd edition of the greatest hits and also a cd/dvd version both different prices so thats a good move having both out

Second rate pop songs is a bit of a harsh statement. lol, I was dancing with you in Blue Bamboo! lol and I had a BRILLIANT NIGHT. You made me feel very special in the tavern. Still can't believe Im 20 though! yikes.

Im pleased you enjoyed the tavern. I must admit it was a fantastic nite and i was fab lol. Anyway back to dannii. Her last ew songs have been second rate. Even rachael stevens does better.

Rachel's music is fab! Basically we know dannii is capable of releasing good music. But it seems at the moment she is in a slump, and most of it is self inflicted. Bad record label, crappy paul- like producers for songs, cheap videos. She doens't have an ear for good music anymore. BUT ANYWAY, she'll turn it around again. Believe Me. A record company WILL invest in her because they know she is capable of success (however mild it may be). And radio's are fair. They played the Neon Nights stuff and and the album got some good reviews especially from the bbc. what was it..."a pleasent coctail of clubculture and pop sophistication" something bridget like that. lol And despite the album not selling that well if she kept at it and stayed with the same "dannii sound" she had going with that album it would have been a stepping stone onto a better selling album. Instead she did a total 180 and did perfection! lol I know she didn't want to do a neon nights part 2, but she would have been better off

Oz no offence but, no. No record company will or should invest in her. She has never attained a huge success. She has had a 15 year career and hasnt even sold 1 million albums in the uk. That is terrible. She gets chances because who she is. Noone wants to gamble with her and that why she is with $h!tty AATW. If anyone else has had her success or lack of they would have been dropped years ago. You know i love her to bits but im relaistic and u know its true anyway.

well its aatws first artist album to go top 20. and nathan says aatw are happy. you gotta be impressed, since when does dannii climb? im dissapointed with how the albums doing but im glad it didn't chart out the top 50 like 2 of her other 4 albums x our dannii deserves so much more. oh well

well i dont mean to offed either but i completly agree with what dannyboy said,,,dannii is still around because of who she is and not because of how well she sold,,,,and as dannyboy said 15 year+career and still hasnt hit th e1 million album sales despite been on her fifth album release

I do agree to a certain extent. But she has had some very good single sales. Deffo not an album artist obviously. lol

i can see their point though i guess they are just trying to put a brave face on things and when you are a hardcore fan you will put the best side forward when in reality in th eback of your mind you know its not true

 

its like kylie fans trying to say impossible princess was a huge uk success when we know it wasnt,,it simply was bought was hardcore kylie fans and will forever remain a cult classic,,,i know thats nice fo us kylie fans but to others we have to admit it wasntwhat you would call a success and thats the reality as much as i hate to say it

 

however kylie fans know she has huge success in both singles and albums and in many many countries

has dannii ever had a number 1 anywhere,,i dont mean dance charts etc i mean an offical chart number 1 in any country
