According to someone at Haven.com, The OCC have compiled the Top 40 Best Selling Singles

of the 1980's. It will be shown on VH1 & TMF etc. over coming Weeks - presented by David Van Day.

 

It is not the same as the Top 40 of the 1980's that Gallup put out at the end of that Decade. Their Top 40 is

below The OCC one. (Apparently, everything in The OCC Top 40 has sold at least 750,000 copies in the UK).

any sales figures/estimates? Perhaps they are different because the OCC one is sales to date for singles released in the 80s, rather than Gallup's which would've just been sales made in the 80s?
