June 25, 200916 yr Ooo this is good for Kristinia: Britney Spears has announced a new support act for the upcoming dates on her world tour. The 'Womanizer' star confirmed that singer Kristinia DeBarge will be joining current opener Ciara for the second leg of her North American tour. Speaking to Access Hollywood, DeBarge said: "Joining Britney Spears for her 'Circus' tour will be an amazing and surreal experience for me. "I have been dreaming of an opportunity like this forever, and can’t wait." The 19-year-old singer is the daughter of '80s pop star James DeBarge. Her debut single 'Goodbye' is currently available for download and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard chart earlier this year. Spears recently announced that she will play an additional 20 shows across Canada and the US, kicking off on August 20. She is also scheduled to play a string of dates across Australia in November.

July 1, 200916 yr She comes across as extremely fugly at times, i.e. her second verse in the music video and that album cover but on other times she comes across as originally latin with quite some star appeal :o This and "Powerless" are both epic and she should do extremely well in the UK, a pity she never had the "Pon De Replay"-esque debut people were hoping for in the US but I think Goodbye could still crack the top 10 there with a little luck but the US market is EXTREMELY strange in comparison to the UK, Oceania and Europe which is where her main market lies imo. I actually LOVE the music video, it reflects who she is - young, vibrant with traditional star quality. She's quite great and Goodbye is the ideal first single for any breakthrough artist, the song is so catchy it's insane. Not the type of stuff I'm usually into but the utter brilliance of the song is simply to hard to resist <3
