Bolded favourites.

A masterpiece. It's like a story, and a bloody good one at that. 'Bad Romance' is the perfect introduction to what is one of the best pop albums EVER. The edgy 'Alejandro' shows a different side to GaGa, but still delivers a breathtaking chorus. 'Monster' is what I'd call "classic", amazing production, lyrics and vocals and a very catchy chorus. As for 'Speechless', it's definitely a weak point, though still a fantastic addition to the album. It wouldn't be right without a slow song and one that is so personal to GaGa fits perfectly. 'Dance in the Dark' is breathtaking, the sing-talk Vogue breakdown is one of the album highlights. 'Telephone' is sure to be a worldwide smash, this era's 'Poker Face' and it's already making waves around the world on 0 airplay. Beyonce makes this song perfect. The more sophisticated sister of 'Eh, Eh', 'So Happy I Could Die' is a dirty mid-tempo track that I cannot get enough of. The chorus is great: lyrically, vocally and production-wise. 'Teeth' is the weakest track on the album and I do tend to skip it. That said, it's not bad at all and it does complete the whole 'Monster' theme. It's very different to what I've ever heard in Pop before so hey, it may be a grower.

Have read lots of reviews saying the CD's are incorrectly being shipped with the censored versions of the tracks.

how do I endure that I buy a version that is free from censorship?

Wait I guess.

Link to some of these reviews? I noticed that there's no uncensored version of 'Dance in the Dark'.

GaGa Elaborates On Concept Of New Album "The Fame Monster"
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_tK9mT7lZo5g/StyfapRf0uI/AAAAAAAAC0Q/m6L6zwv_DZQ/s400/Lady%20GaGa-%20The%20Fame%20Monster%20(Made%20by%20Mike).jpg

Lady GaGa has been exorcising her demons on latest album, "The Fame Monster." Namely her fear of death. As well as her fear of relationships, which she address on the song "Monster".

"It's the fear of attachment and fear of loving something that's bad for you," she told MTV News about the track. "If you listen to the lyrics, it's like being in love with the bad boy all the time, and you keep going back for more."

In "Monster," GaGa says she needs a stable relationship. "I keep falling in love with the monster," she said. "But what I really need is security and the safety and the womanhood, responsibility of my femininty. And so that's what the song is about."

She recently told MTV News that her music and performances are on extension of her belief that as an artist, she lives her private life in the public world. "To me, being an artist is being public," she explained. "So I'm being private in public every night, and all my monsters and my fears went leaping out of me and I just began to write."

At the release party of "The Fame Monster," she told E! News that the record is all about her phobias.

"Fear of alcohol, fear on sex monster, fear of love monster, fear of myself monster," she explained.

The pop star then went onto confirm the background of her second single, "Telephone."

"I wrote it for Britney Spears a long time ago, and she just didn't use it on her album. And it's fine because I love the song, and it's exciting that I get to perform it now."

Her album, "The Fame Monster" which topping most iTunes album charts at the moment has recently been nominated for album of the year by Billboard Magazine. You can vote for GaGa to win the award by following http://www.billboard.com/#/features/vote-t...004047836.story" target="_blank">this link.

Apparently TFM will be charting as The Fame.. which means the sales will count towards The Fame!

Now GaGa has a chance of getting the end of year #1 album. I hope she can hold KOL and SuBo off the top, she deserves it sooo much more. :D

I hope it does. Gaga is the star of 2009. How cool would be #1 album and single of 2009 ^_^

1) Bad Romance

2) Paparazzi

3) Alejandro

4) Just Dance

5) Paper Gangster

6) Telephone

7) Dance In The Dark

8) Poker Face

9) Boys Boys Boys

10) Second Time Around

So Happy I Could Die and Monster could potentially make it on the list once I get into them a little more.

Yeah but she will have to sell quite a lot the next few weeks if she wants to be #1 in both, because x factor singles will skyrocket up the EOY singles chart and IGF (BEPs) is still storming up tbh, there's more competition for Poker Face than you think.

As for the albums, KOL shouldn't be a problem to overtake, it's just Susan Boyle we need to be on the lookout for.

To be brutally honest, I simply can't rank GaGa's songs. They all have a different effect on me and I love each one of them in different ways and at different times. Like for example when I listen to Bad Romance I'd think OMG best song ever, and then if I listen to Monster or whatever straight afterward I think the exact same thing etc. Her music as a whole is total perfection, I find it so bizzare how people can rank songs in the blink of an eye or decide which GaGa song is better than the other because I'm literally incapable of doing that. The only way I think I can rank them is by looking at their total plays on ipod but off the top of my head there is just no way. :drama:
^You're spot on, i have this problem too. I only can make a current ranking which is constantly changing. :o

Quite true. It keeps changing, isn't that the case all the time? Based on how you emotionally feel about the music? And as the music moves you...then you are assess it differently. :P
