So the Doomsday Prophecies say the world will end December 21st 2012.

Matter of time before the movies started coming out :heehee:

'2012' though looks epic.

The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson.

You posted this not even a day ago, please allow it some time to gain attention before you bump it up.

Anyway, the trailer doesnt do much for me as its just a sneak peak but then again it doesnt give us a peak of anything apart from some water scenes... Dont really get much from it...

apocolyptic films FTW.

that sequence was so awesome, natural disasters can be so beautiful some times, i wouldn t want a big wave like that to come and kill so many people, but seeing it is just... amazing.

Hopefully this wount get all dayaftertomorrow and be boring as f*** though.

Looks incredible [and quite scary to!]

I remember reading about this around a year go and was quite interested, but I think this will be pretty massive.

Looks great. I love Day After Tomorrow and it seems to be similar but just without weather this time. Effects look fab. :)

New 5 min clip: looks amazing. Cannot wait to see this in the cinema! :w00t:

f***ing beautiful.

must be so fun like getting to destroy the world, those visuals though, particualry in the montage at the end just look amazing.

cant wait to see this.

This looks COMPLETELY EPIC.

And, yeah, scary. But tbf, if something on that scale happened, there's f*** all we can do about it - so let's just enjoy the movie.

Absolutely laughing my socks off at this.

What is this? Carry on Armageddon?

I'm sure I saw a smirk on John Cusack's face as he was driving through the earthquake.

Bloody hokum.

Looks good!

Looking forward to hearing Adam Lamberts song on the soundtrack also

I suppose he plays someone who is just a normal everyday average driver. No way he would have rally skills like that  But who cares

The EPIC kitchen sink disaster film is nearly here :w00t:

The most waited movie this year :w00t:

saw it today was really good but just too long.

I never thought I'd say this, but frankly I'd rather sit through "The Day After Tomorrow" 50 times than sit through this pile of utter CACK ever again..... DEARIE ME..... Just how hilariously bad is this film.....? I mean, seriously they're just not even trying any more are they, how on earth can a film about the end of the world be so incredibly DULL AND TEDIOUS as this........? What on earth was John Cusack thinking when he signed up for this turkey....? Well, apart from the no doubt very large cheque that Emmerich was waving under his nose..... I was never a big fan of Emmerich's "Independence Day", but, really, that film is Citizen Kane standard compared to this absolute tripe.....

How bad do I think this film is...? Well, it almost makes me regret every bad thing I ever said about "Twilight"..... Almost..... :P

The most waited movie this year :w00t:

Really...? Is it....? I think you'll find "New Moon" has been far more hyped and anticipated than this one mate..... 2012 is the support act to the "New Moon" main event IMO.... I dont really like that any more than you do, but it nevertheless remains the fact....

I think he meant his personal most awaited film this year.

Indeed, what Chris said, it's my most anticipated movie of the year. I just can't help but love global catastrophes films.

Can't watch it in a movie atm, will have to wait for a DVD release

Some of my mates (actually almost all of them) tell that the film is boring and wasn't worth their money, but others tell they cried during the whole thing. I have a feeling i am potentionally in the second category

But yes speaking globally New Moon/Twilight is so scarily popular, can't really see why it happened. I didn't like Twilight as much but - judging on the trailers of the New Moon - to say I'm hooked (like my mom who NEVER goes to movies nowadays and who was the first one to suggest us my family going altogether when it's shown in the cinema) is to lie, so i'm definately interested at the very least.

A bit of mindless destruction is always fun, I mean, I grew up watching all these dodgy "Godzilla" films.....

But, Oh GOD, this is mind-numbingly awful stuff when it's NOT being all "destruction-y".... "Cloverfield" absolutely pishes on this film....
