November 20, 200915 yr I saw it, it was sadly not half as good as I was expecting from it. Full of cliches, paradox things, and was exaggerated. Were some good effects in there, but it was not worth for the money I gave it to see it in the cinema. :( The Day After Tomorrow was much better!
November 25, 200915 yr Special effects was really great but all the rest not so good The Day After Tomorrow was much better! Really!
November 26, 200915 yr saw this also about a week ago and parts where good but overall dissapointing. Had to many tick the box moments; people get in car just as the earth crumbles beneath them, people get in plane just as earch crumbles below them -- these just in time scenes happened throughout and became laughable after a while. Chiwetel Ejiofor's (the black scientist) speach at the end to "pursuade" everyone to open the arc was cringeworthy to say the least! Guy from the zombie movie was funny and allowed for some refreshment but wont buy the DVD.
November 26, 200915 yr Saw this last night and I dont really know where to begin. I guess first of all, TOO LONG. There was SO MUCH that coulda been cut out of this movie and I hate sitting still for 3 hours for no apparent reason. The plot wasnt great, the whole end of the world escape scenes where buildings, trains, earthquakes etc. narrowly missed cheap Nicholas Cage lookalike were laughable. My personal LOL moment was when he was INSIDE a van that got sucks underground and still somehow managed to get out?! Good premise, crap in the end and at the same time I kind of wanted to like it. They completley ruined any potentially good scriptwriting at the end though. Little Girl: Daddy, when are we going home? Nicholas Cage Lookalike: We're going to find a new home, a new future! 3/10. VERY dissapointed.

November 27, 200915 yr Nicholas Cage Lookalike: We're going to find a new home, a new future! I'm sorry, you've clearly never been to a cinema in your life have you.....??? John Cusack can act Nicolarse Cage off the fukkin' screen mate....... I would suggest you go down to your local video/DVD rental place and rent Grosse Point Blank, The Grifters, Bullets over Broadway, Being John Malkovitch, Max, High Fidelity and Identity forthwith my friend.....
November 27, 200915 yr Christ, all I was doing was making a joke he looked like Nicholas Cage, I wasnt comparing his acting in any style... you dont both need to get all preachy at me.

Well, sorry mate but it didn't really seem like you knew who John Cusack was.... And, besides, I dont really think he even looks much like Nic Cage tbh, I just dont really see the comparison (well, okay, maybe around the eyes to be fair...)....
November 27, 200915 yr Ew. The mere concept of Cusack being vaguely compared to Cage in the looks department hurts my head. Cusack's beautiful. I quite liked 2012! It's one of the first films I've seen of that length which didn't make me leave to go to the toilet halfway through. I judge that as a pretty good feat. Edited November 27, 200915 yr by Chemical_Halo

November 29, 200915 yr my video rental place shut down :( torrents are the future. (although mininova is now removing all copyrighted material :/) Mininova's totally shagged..... :( I think they're scared of being battered like their previous site SuprNova was..... Isohunt and BT Junkie seem about the only places now that I can think of... Pirate Bay's still going too, but is somewhat limited......

I use invite-only sites these days with private trackers (better for music though really).
November 29, 200915 yr There's an ace russian torrent site out here with absolutely ANYTHING you can find. Seriously. Cracked programs, new episodes, leaked music, movies etc... With smallest probability of viruses in there  Mininova/piratebay/etc are NOTHING compared to it.

With smallest probability of viruses in there  Mininova/piratebay/etc are NOTHING compared to it. music i can find anything you could think of in mp3 and flac easily (what.cd is the best site ever) , new episodes eztv.it is really good especially for American shows, movies used to be easy, isohunt is pretty good, and torrentseed.org is alright, cracked programs used to be easy on pirate bay, if its a popular program it can always be found quite good. as for probability of viruses, music wise, on what.cd i 100% wont get a virus. seriously if you are into file sharing private invite only torrent sites are the way forward, its just getting in to them.
November 30, 200915 yr I was lol when the helicopters were lifting the elephant and the giraffe over the Himalayas
