If all discussion about the actual single could be kept HERE it would be appreciated.
May 11, 200916 yr It's good, but it's not that good. It's contains blatant elements of Impossible and Halo and practically everyother Tedder song. The 'get your armour' bit is cheesy at the beginning but gets epic towards the end and she slightly sounds like a second-rate Michelle Williams throughout--but nonetheless, this will go top 5 and establish the bitch's career.
May 11, 200916 yr I think it's outstanding. I. CAN'T. STOP. LISTENING. TO. IT! Her voice has matured so much, sure to be a top 5 hit! I think i'm in love with the woman!
May 11, 200916 yr Hmmm it's okay, maybe it's because the YouTube quality isn't that great? It's very obviously a Tedder production, but to me it doesn't have the magic that Bleeding Love, Halo or even Stop & Stare has. I shall wait for the "full package" before I judge properly however. ^_^
May 11, 200916 yr I've only listened twice and even on the second listen it was growing but I don't think it's as strong a song as Already Gone, and musically it's a bit messy; Halo has a better backing track (but worse vocals obviously). Still very good though.
May 11, 200916 yr this is destined to be a smash. There has been do many brilliant songs this year so far. Edited May 11, 200916 yr by Steve69
May 11, 200916 yr This is SUCH a grower. The first time i heard it i wasn't to sure, second time loved the chorus, third time it was getting good. Now after about 12 or so listens its become amazing, though im sure i'll overplay it and be bored of it by the time of UK release.
May 11, 200916 yr Thought I'd give this a listen after seeing the positive response on here. My favourite single from her definitely. Although that's not saying much, as I detested 'No Air' and wasn't overly keen on 'Tattoo' or 'One Step at a Time', I think I could grow to love this with a few listens! There seems to be loads of good R&B/ pop at the moment and no real good indie/ alternative! :drama: Maybe my tastes are A-CHANGIN'! :o
May 11, 200916 yr ^^ no i agree Dance/R&B/Pop has been so good so far this year and indie/rock/alternative has been a let down compared to recent years.
May 11, 200916 yr Ok after listening to this 5 times, this is by far the best song of the year. IMO. Jordin, oh Jordin.
May 11, 200916 yr Just finished listening to it for the first time. I have to say, one of the best songs of 2009. :o
May 11, 200916 yr I wish she had done more vocally but it's still amazing. Love the "fiiiighting fiiighting for" in the final chorus. :D
May 11, 200916 yr ^Did you not hear the high vocal backing? Im sure its her. Where abouts? She's done her own harmonies in parts of the second verse if that's what you mean. I wouldn't really call them good vocal moments though, I'm talking about big notes like in the final chorus where she adlibs "fighting fighting for". :)
May 11, 200916 yr 67 plays later and still not bored. What a cracking piece of pop music! I'll eat my foot if this isn't top 5!
May 11, 200916 yr REAAAAAAAAALLY GOOD SONG!! best part ''so you better go and get your armer'' WOOOOOOOOOOW!!
