I don't think I Like It Rought would be a good single, but it's really grown on me... Whereas I've gone off Starstruck a bit.

i sure hope lady gaga makes it big! im sure she will do fine on akon's convict label, he seems to be in every song these days!
I'm not ANGRY about it at all, I'm just saying. She's still a great artist...I just liked her more when it just wasn't the popular thing.

idk, I'm weird.

Definitely the SAME way!

Example: Veronicas. New album has been around for a while and my friends would not give Untouched the light of day. Now that they've discovered it's finally being played on American radio, suddenly it's cool to really like it!

Getting back on topic... I downloaded 'Eh, Eh' yesterday and it's not anywhere near as good as 'Just Dance' or 'Pokerface'. I'm guessing there's some better choices for singles on the album from what people are saying. I can see why it's not been a huge hit in Australia (at least right now) where her past two singles were #1.

That's music for you. :P The majority of the population will not get into something unless it's become cool to like it. It's really apparent on Buzzjack as well. I doubt a lot of people would give artists like M.I.A. any interest had it not had commercial success. I remember when Kala came out, only a few people here even posted about it, and now...

It can be annoying sometimes, but in the end it's great to see the artists you like doing well.

Peaks for the album and singles this far

Cool, thanks! Pretty sure Poker Face will be top 2 in the UK when it comes out officially in March.

Paparazzi from the album chart show:

They only aired that and Just Dance.

Album drops to #13 this week :(
I was surprised about that. It was #5 in midweeks. :( But it will probably climb next week after she performs at the Brits. :)

starstruck? thats not on my album

the fame charted on the singles charts on downloads alone, was random. maybe as it was used on make me a supermodel.

Starstruck is a UK (European?) bonus track.

Was it in Oz that that single charted? What did it get to?

Don't really like just dance, but pokerface, beautiful dirty rich and paparazzi are all really good songs so im happy that lady gaga is having so much success.
Paparazzi charted in the UK! #95, nothing, but good news!

Yeah, it debuted Top 200 on the week of the album's release. Then it climbed into the Top 100 but it's not gone Top 75 yet. Why is Beautiful, Dirty, Rich in the chart though?
