♥ - This is my favourite Amerie song and I adore her so much. 'One Thing' overwhelmingly fabulous as well. I love the folk instrument inspired intro and it's power R&B at its best. Amerie certainly does control the song and nails it with her 'Hey!'s, superb lyric pronounciation as well as her strength-filled voice. What I love most about it, is it's weight doesn't lie in the chorus but the overall song coming together, as if it's unpurposely catchy - which is why it never did as well as the likes of 'One Thing' Extremely underrated song, it got my 12 in the BJSC spin-off. I still listen to this every now and then so it just had to make my list.

I haven't heard the "Because I Love It" album, but I think "Take Control" is Amerie's best song. But "Touch" is a close second, they're fairly similar but "Take Control" probably just edges it. :wub:

♥ - The first of a few randoms on my list, this song is 13 years old! ;o Anyways I adore this woman and thank god Katherine Jenkins is still around to continue putting out some stunning classical songs. This haunting cover of Hooverphonic's 'Eden' is without a doubt my favourite Sarah song, along with 'Free'. Don't be afraid to watch the goth inspired video, it's extremely fascinating. The song will move you irrespective if you like this type of music or not - this is a must listen.

Ah thanks Aaron :o It's not that difficult for me, I tend to still listen to the stand-out songs, so they all basically make this list - just in order of popularity.

 

Ooh, I'd think you'd have her album seeing your major love for female RandB artists. Definitely is a must-get, kinda feel guilty about Amerie being that low but anyways.

A song that pretty much knocked me over from nowhere. It's a sort-of funky foreign styled R&B jam. Find it great in every single way - superly produced and the two girls voices come together perfectly on this track even though they're extremely different. Not sure if this was released in the UK or if it flopped but had platinum-like success in France mainly because of its foreign appeal. Defo worth a listen if you have not heard. Timeless. <3

♥ - The only real Chris Brown song I love. Living in the urban country that I do, this was huge in clubs and too good to resist. Have not the fogiest idea as to why it flopped, this violent boy's best offering by far. Lurv this song. Extremely shake-yr-bootyful. <3 the video is great as well. Hmmm <3 I'm not the interracial type but his quite sexy if I say so myself AND the vampire styled video is like SO grr lolz.

♥ - The oldest song on my list, almost 40 years old. One of my all-time rock/metal faves - ah I remember when I went all rebel and demonistic running down the street in a trolley screaming 'Ozzyy!' :manson: This song is so timeless, feels like it was released just yesterday - i'd describe it as THE metal song with a little electro tinge to it. Should please Chris that i'm still in touch with my metal roots. .

♥ - Back to the R&B, we have the synthy Brandy song with sexual inuendos in plenty. ADORE this song and Brandy, my favourite song, album and era by her. The uh-ah-uh-ah-oh's of the song are still echoing in the back of my head since my last listen among other things the contagious chorus. Awsmness, tend to listen to the remixes more though.
