Well she's mixed race, which is close enough. :rolleyes: I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised anyway, "No Air" was HUGE in my chart last year and "Tattoo" kinda was too. :o

 

I don't really send black females anyway. I may have sent Beverley and Estelle in the first two contests but I so wouldn't these days. I've sent Santogold, M.I.A. and now Kelly Rowland as well but those aren't really R&B or Pop, which is probably the genres I lean to. I would have probably sent someone like Ashanti, Jazmine Sullivan or Michelle Williams by now if I wasn't certain the BJSC would totally reject them. -_-

And Jazmine Sullivan's already been rejected with her most BJSC-friendly song :P

- I'm supporting La Roux for the win in this, but FSR Rontvia would make a FANTASTIC winner. My prediction for the dark horse anyway...

True, even though it's one of my least favourite on the album. I'm actually obsessed with "Call Me Guilty" from it, it's got such a catchy chorus, I like the little phone call and police bits and the subject would probably make it stand out. But, yeah, I'd never send it because it just doesn't do that well. Brandy was more Pop and one of the best R&B songs this year could only scrape 10th last month.
