May 7, 200916 yr quite different to everyone else, you don't have BaNG or Kopecka down as qualifiers :o
May 7, 200916 yr quite different to everyone else, you don't have BaNG or Kopecka down as qualifiers :o It's very tough to call :( I really think people saying Kopecka will qualify just because the country always does well will eventually result in massive shock, it's going to happen one day, one day no country will have always escaped the semis. The idea that Kopecka will always qualify no matter what they send is going to be Kopecka's undoing someday I think..... Edited May 7, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238

The idea that Kopecka will always qualify no matter what they send is going to be Kopecka's undoing someday I think..... moreso the fact that it's Little Boots is the reason I think it will qualify  I actually thought that Saint Etienne would have been their first DNQ a couple of contests ago but they always scrape a qualification :heehee: but like you say, nobody is invincible, those countries who haven't already will inevitably fail at some point...Nonsuch, Quotosibb, Mdice and Kopecka are the only ones left to fail I think now (with Lorikeet not here this month) but there is no way in hell that David/Kelly or Marina will miss the final, and I honestly can't see Dead Disco DNQ'ing either, so they'll all keep up their perfect streaks again by the looks of it :o
May 7, 200916 yr It doesn't sound so much like Little Boots though. funny you should say that, it sounded like a more subtle version of Meddle to me  I could definitely identify it as Little Boots straight away :o
May 7, 200916 yr funny you should say that, it sounded like a more subtle version of Meddle to me  I could definitely identify it as Little Boots straight away :o Really :o If it hadn't said Dead Disco, I don't think I would've known. But, I guess I don't pay much attention to Little Boots compared to some.
May 7, 200916 yr Really :o If it hadn't said Dead Disco, I don't think I would've known. But, I guess I don't pay much attention to Little Boots compared to some. Her voice is quite plain I suppose for somebody who is supposed to be the 'big thing' of the year, La Roux is a lot more quirky and has a definitive 'sound' already whereas New In Town is nothing like Meddle which is nothing like Stuck On Repeat. Maybe it's an identity crisis :heehee: either way, I'm looking forward to both singer's albums, La Roux's a little bit more it has to be said :o Little Boots does seem to have become the darling of BJSC recently but I can't tell if You're Out will carry on her pattern of doing well, or flop because everyone's sick of seeing her in the contest :o it's a tough one to call but I'm going to predict that it will get to the final and come about 13th
May 7, 200916 yr Does Dead disco have Little boots singing in it? :o I knew I sensed something familiar in that song, it sounds a bit like meddle..... Edited May 7, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238

I find La Roux good and original. However, I do love New In Town.
