Posted January 20, 200916 yr Iron Maiden have announced details of their first ever feature-length documentary, to be released in cinema's worldwide on April 21. 'Iron Maiden: Flight 666 - The Movie' follows the band's 2008 'Somewhere Back In Time Tour', which saw them play to nearly half a million fans across the world. Camera crews were given exclusive access to the band, and footage includes singer Bruce Dickinson flying a specially customised Iron Maiden jumbo jet to each destination. Despite singing at 23 shows in 45 days, Dickinson also piloted the Boeing 747 - christened Ed Force One - for much of the trip. The band's crew and equipment also travelled on the plane.

January 21, 200916 yr I too think this will be rather good... As long as it's not some cr@ppy PR thing and is more like the Metallica doc "Some Kind of Monster".... Did you guys know that Bruce Dickinson is getting involved in film production as well....? He co-produced and co-wrote the rather bizarre, low-budget Brit-horror "Chemical Wedding", which revolved around Aleister Crowley.... I know, a very typical subject for a Metal singer to be involved in  , but it does take a few rather unusual twists and turns, and it certainly beats the endless stream of cr@ppy US horror remakes...., if one looks at it as a low-budget Brit flick and you dont have high expectations of it, it's actually pretty enjoyable..... Check out....http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0974536/

(without the blah blah blah probably.) xx Only a week to gooooo
May 4, 200916 yr Just seen on the NME site that Flight 666 is being released on May 25th on DVD etc, accompanied by a double live CD ... how good is that?! Did anyone else manage to see Flight 666 on Maiden Day? X
May 4, 200916 yr Author The thread is old though  sorry so you think we need another thread just to say Just seen on the NME site that Flight 666 is being released on May 25th on DVD etc, accompanied by a double live CD ... how good is that?! Did anyone else manage to see Flight 666 on Maiden Day? X whether a topic is old is irrelevant, if someone started a topic on the same single, is their point having two? and theres also the fact i have told 'bellaroo' many times, including a PM NOT to create new topics on the same thing, the same thing being Flight 666 and they will get a warning next time if it happens again, would of this time if i could be arsed. so dont roll your eyes at me, im the mod, its not your choice.

May 4, 200916 yr do they really need a topic each, NO. i'm with Chris tbh... All the poster had to do was bump the original topic with "update" posts.....
May 4, 200916 yr Author its obvious that they are probaly just a publicist aswell, why Iron Maiden would need someone to spam forums for them i dont know :/
May 4, 200916 yr its obvious that they are probaly just a publicist aswell, why Iron Maiden would need someone to spam forums for them i dont know :/ The fact that the poster only has a count of about a couple of dozen has my suspicions also tbh..... Not sure it's a publicist, maybe just some mad Maiden fan....
May 4, 200916 yr Author who knows but it doesnt take an idiot that stuff ON THE SAME thing doesnt need a new thread, and have explained this in PM to them, yet they still persist :/

May 10, 200916 yr heyy whoaa what's with all the negativity on here. Anyway... did anyone manage to catch the film? Thoughts please? Well, Chris is saying you have to post Flight 666-related here, not as a new thread. BTW, about the movie, haven't seen it.
