Posted May 6, 200916 yr I mean obviously they wont during the show, but I'm hoping we can see how the public actually voted, at least on the eurovision website
May 6, 200916 yr I hope so, but I doubt it, otherwise they'd leak the full backup jury votes every year it would definitely be interesting to see though
May 6, 200916 yr They do leak the back-up jury votes for some countries I think, so I expect something similar this year...
May 6, 200916 yr They will be publishing the individual televote and jury results after the contest this year.
May 6, 200916 yr Seeing the rehearsals today, I think it will :kink: But then come 13th with the juries :snif:
May 6, 200916 yr On the ESC 2009 simulator on ESCNation it copies the complete format (and gives juries results) so I'm guessing, yes!
May 6, 200916 yr Am I the only here who thinks the jury and public votes will be extremely similar for most countries?
May 6, 200916 yr Probably.... I think they will be totally different. These are music professionals, and so presumably will be loking for quality in music, and not fun or showmanship. When there were juries in the 90s, they were always drawn to ballads, not uptempo... but times change.
May 6, 200916 yr Author if there were juries last year I seriously doubt Spain would've gotten 10 points from us :P
May 6, 200916 yr not that it could or will happen i would love for half of the countries to have jury vote only and the other half public voting and then we would see the full difference or similarities but if greece and cyrprus for example make the final it doesnt matter what system they use as both will swap the 12 points
May 7, 200916 yr Am I the only here who thinks the jury and public votes will be extremely similar for most countries? the UK ones certainly won't be anywhere near the same... we always reserve our high points for novelty rubbish (We Are The Winners, Pirates Of The Sea etc...), Greece and Turkey, and somehow I don't see the jury distributing the points to these places
May 7, 200916 yr I just hope you're all right then! Can't say I'm feeling our entry (I haven't liked anything we have done since Imaani, well Javine did a decent job a few years back), but my god I hope Jade can restore a bit of faith for the UK this year!
