But then I'd only listen to our entry. :( I just don't like non-English songs as much, I like being able to easily understand what's being said without a reference sheet.

(I know this is about understanding and blah blah, but doesn't this make you stuck in the world you live in without any window to the other world you will never want to see? But I like to try and make it so last.fm has the song available (like as a full track) this tag makes it have a black arrow next to it. ^_^

 

I guess it's just a coincidence that the UK and Ireland are my favourites this year, they were certainly not highlights LAST YEAR (Ireland especially :puke2:) For some reason Ireland's entry just stuck out to me, it's quite different to a lot of the entries in that it doesn't really sound like a Eurovision song.

 

Eh, I'm not really interested in trying to learn a language to appreciate a song. I'll listen to foreign language songs, but I reckon there are enough decent English songs that I don't feel inclined to listen to songs in other languages. I don't recall any non-English songs that even sound good this year. :o
