Not happy with that radio edit AT ALL. They have cut out like half the song, all it need was one less chorus but then they go cut out Inna's and most of Marcel's adlibs as well! And I thought you couldn't get a worse radio edit than the one for Rihanna's Rehab guess I was wrong! :drama: The only good part is it intros with the chorus and not the first verse. .

I've never understood why they have to shorten songs either, especially for dance tracks. Saying that they have even done Owl City which was crazy. I do hope this does well but it really needs to be out in March, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot I think. I wonder if Radio 1 will playlist it?

 

BTW is it definately out on the 22nd Feb, apart from the mention on that web link I can't find anything else to state that date?

 

EDIT: Manic made a good point in the Schedule thread that as there was no date when that info was posted,how do we know the 22nd was the original date and it was put back to the 15th? On the AATW forum it does state 15th March still?

Well, I've been checking regularly for release details and I only came across the news after Inna was added to the release schedule and it was the most recent news on that news page as well. . But hopefuly it is March, the sooner the worser. She needs enough airplay backing first and in a quieter release period. .

the UK has a way of ruining great tracks, either by shortening them to the point of ridicule, or by having those awful UK remix versions.

i think the itunes just static edward maya also moving at same pace as inna and inna have not promote the song in scandinavia countries cause she been busy in greece this last week so it still got lot of time to climb !

Love was top 40 on Finland iTunes on the weekend but now it's completely vanished (deleted?) and I couldn't find Hot available for purchase on their store either. I think they've both been deleted because of the public buying the wrong song LOL? So it probably still has to be re-added onto their iTunes. .

Meanwhile Edward Maya is storming the Finnish I-Tunes chart :o Also Spain (finally!)

Radio Edit for 10 minutes has stuck in my head. :lol: So cool! The backing melody played on saxophone (???) is very similar to 'Destination Calabria' by Alex Gaudino though.

 

I agree with you guys, they did a bad job cutting the track, they could actually cut less 'exciting' bits, instead of what they did cut the most powerful. I'm still hopeful for a hit, the song deserves it so much.

Yeah, quite a crap edit tbh, I think the best parts are still in there, but it doesn't build in the same way :( Still think it can be a hit, it probably has more chance now :wub:

no, the Cahill version is a remix, it makes it into more of a house song than the electro of the original

 

the radio edit that we all know and hate love and will be getting is just a mauled cut and paste job of the original - no remix involved
