Posted May 12, 200916 yr Since Norway is a big favourite do you think a win for Norway is a given now? Or do you think the juries might shake the results up a bit? Fairytale is nice enough but I don't think it deserves to win, but it probably will anyway :P
May 12, 200916 yr when i first heard it out of them all it was the stand out for me and thought yes thats the winner but now i am edging more towards ukraine and romania, but could be very close i am liking estonia now more and more
May 12, 200916 yr I don't think so. It has a good chance, but I think Ukraine, Estonia and Bosnia are in with a good chance. I would prefer Portugal to Bosnia, but in reality I'm not even sure they will qualify
May 12, 200916 yr Portugal, Ukraine, Bosnia, Norway, Moldova, Armenia - i hope one of them wins.
May 12, 200916 yr Moldova or Armenai are good songs, but I don't want to visit them... I'm already answering everyone on the question "why didn't you go to Moscow on Eurovision??!" - "Why? I'll go to Oslo next year" So you're going too? :kink:
May 12, 200916 yr the Norwegian song is a song that everyone love first time they listen (mostly) and almost everyone watching ESC have probably only listen to their own country's entry.. So I donno.. I would say Norway have it in a bag :kink:
May 12, 200916 yr I think a lot of people are overestimating Norway. I loved the song the first few times, but I've listened to it a lot on studio version, where it sounds great. Watching it live however, Alex's vocal's aren't really great, and will probably get overtaken by someone like Jade with perfect vocals, or Svetlana with her engaging performance. I think the people who've voted it 12 points at OGAE, haven't taken into account that he isn't that amazing on a live performance. That said, it probably deserved top 5, and I'd be happy to see it win.

May 12, 200916 yr I used to think they had it in the bag, now I'm not sure... I hope something average doesn't win again, I really haven't been particularly into any of the past 3 winners :snif: UK for the win :cheer:
May 12, 200916 yr I really haven't been particularly into any of the past 3 winners :snif: Molitva :o :o
May 12, 200916 yr If it was all about listening to the audio & watching the videos of all the ESC entries then Yes. As it is about performing the song well live, then it could easily come unstuck. A good example for the UK being back in 1996 Gina G was a huge hit single across Europe reaching UK#1 & it even reached #12 in the USA; yet it only finished 8th due to a musically painful performance on the night. AMOgwaaQofI Eurovision 1996 - UK: Gina G - Ooh aah... just a little bit
May 12, 200916 yr Yep, that was a ropey live performance. Jade is a spectacular singer. But I don't believe completely in the song, or the fact that people across Europe will want to vote for the UK :snif:
May 12, 200916 yr Molitva is one of the best winners of the last decade! :o :o Dima Bilan, however, was horrible. :puke:
May 12, 200916 yr I wish one of these wins ESC : Malta, Finland, Ukraine, Turkey, Azerbaijan, (Maybe Sweden and Iceland) TBH I do not like Jade's performance (What is incredible in it ?? )
May 12, 200916 yr I hope not! I completly gone off of this song :( plus it would be such an obvious winner, and I don't want that :P if you'd asked me a month a go I would've said YES! but now one big NOOOO!
