It was randomly that I chosed a UK regarding thread

Although i understand Jade has a beautiful voice with quite a lovverly song (towards the end) I must say I think she may lose out to some of the other ballads. From what i heard of SF1 Sweden have sent a more suited Eurovision ballad and Malta have the fat bloke with a voice (as shown to be successful by Serbia) so will Jade just be left picking up the pieces?

I think Iceland have the full packadge :o She is beautiful, her voice is amazing, her song is lovly and the stage and background is beautiful :wub: I think Malta and Iceland will do it better then UK, although Jade have an amazing song too :)

Sweden probably got jury vote again IMO unfortunately! :( I'm terrified of Iceland though - but that would be one HELL of a deserving shock winner! :o

From Malta and Cyprus obviously but I cannot see Jade getting that many points overall so I do think the list of countries will be quite short. If it would be 100% televote still this year Jade would have no chance cracking top 20 but since the juries are back and I can see the juries showing some love for the song so I think it will end up somewhere between 15-20.

I think we might get points from all over Europe tbh this year. :o Perhaps the Balkans might be a bit more difficult to get the higher numbers off, but I don't see why we won't get points from everywhere else. Although actually, hasn't Jade been to Bosnia? I'm not too worried about Iceland now that they're drawn near the start. Both songs may be ballads but both are completely different - Iceland's is more of a calm, simple song that imo goes nowhere at all, however I am beginning to like it slightly more now! I personally think Iceland is more of a grower too, which could possibly work in our favour. 'My Time' on the other hand is instant and just amazing tbh. Those soaring "tonight" notes towards the end of the song will seal us a good few votes I reckon, and by the time we get to song 23 Iceland will probably have been forgotten about by the ballad lovers.

i think the uk will get at least 8 points from ireland and malta and i can see belguim given them at least 7,i think the ul will get points from alot of juries not sure if they will be above 5 from a few though

I think there is a potential that we'll get a lot of 4's 5's and 6's ... I'm not sure how many 12's we'll get unless the song just blows everyone away.

do we ever get any points from portugal? i've always thought of the uk and portugal as having quite a good relationship.. and maybe some of the british holiday makers over there might vote for us if they're not that drunk!

BT are having a campaign to get people to call their friends in foreign countries, and get them to vote for Jade, so that might work for Portugal :)
