No! I put it as et cetera to refer to the fact this is the second semi, not to declare support, just like I did for the first SF with La Voix :P

and La Voix qualified

I'm clinging on to little signs like this to stop me being so nervous

You could have written Israeli lyrics in Hebrew there! It was first Semi too :(

OMG  me and my clasmate from Israel was talking about ESC today and we both love Israel, Iceland, Andorra and Norway and find the Swedish song :puke2:

I don't really like Sweden either TBH. I don't think it will win now...

That is a very interesing picture of Alexander in your sig BTW *runs away in terror*

If only i had at least ONE person in my Uni group that managed NOT to fall ASLEEP after the 5th song in the SF1 while watching it.

It's from a Norwegian cartoon, my siggy I mean ;)

Well.. Norwegian adult-funny cartoons is making fun, because u can't listen to radio or TV without hear Fairytale.. even internet adverts

what i WANT and kind THINK that will go through tonight (before the actual performances :P )

Croatia

Norway

Azerbaijan

Greece

Lithuania

Moldova

Albania

Ukraine

Estonia

10th qualifer (jury pick maybe) - Denmark

I can also see Serbia making it ... although I hope they won as it's PURE SH!T! :puke:

I have to say, I REALLY hope Albania qualify. CMWYIYD is really quite fantastically dark...potential top ten if drawn well if it qualifies?

I officially love you for that! Albania are by miles my favourites this year, the song is WONDERFUL, and Kejsi is great. She has a bit of a rabbit-in-the-headlights look about her, which is sweet, but could cause her problems if misunderstood. I really hope she qualifies

SF1 8/10 I predicted went through

SF2???

Norway

Denmark

Estonia

Azerbaijan

Ireland

Ukraine

Slovenia

Poland

Cyprus

Greece

I'd rather Ireland sent a song we all knew was going to epic fail rather than one we are all unsure about. As much as I'd like to see the girls in the Final (The final is SO boring when your country isn't in it!), I don't think we'll make it. Jury vote, anyone? :kink:
I really doubt it sorry! :heehee: It's televotes or nothing, I can't see juries putting through an amateur (well, OK, but they are new) girl rock band
Very true. :snif: They've only had one release over here, and even though it was kinda good, they didn't get very far. :nocheer:

I'm fairly confident on it being the following ten...

Serbia - Marko Kon and Milan - Cipela

Norway - Alexander Rybak - Fairytale

Denmark - Brinck - Believe Again

Azerbaijan - AySel and Arash - Always

Greece - Sakis Rouvas - This Is Our Night

Lithuania - Sasha Son - Love

Moldova - Nelly Ciobanu - Hora din Moldova

Albania - Kejsi Tola - Carry Me in Your Dreams

Ukraine - Svetlana Loboda - Be My Valentine! (Anti-Crisis Girl)

Estonia - Urban Symphony - Randajad

juries are soooo diffrent around the Europe.. we have to wait to we know the results before we see what juries like the most.. but it's no doubt Norway will get the most jury votes

I read on esctoday how some people are predicting Norway 2009 will be this years Sweden 2008

Surely not? :o

It's probably more likely that Sweden 2009 is this years Sweden 2008 :kink:

maybe :snif:

I still think they should have sent Stay The Night, seeing as all of the great songs qualified from the first semi (bar one which had a poor live vocal), Alcazar could have sailed through on the public vote, particularly as Lina, Tess and Andreas are fantastic live performers/vocalists

True, but TBH I think they could have ended up being too gay for Eurovision :kink:
Actually I think Greece is this year's Sweden 2008, in fact it's the same song, but by a guy :kink:

I think that's Hope & Glory by Mans Zelmerlow :kink:

Sakis' song is a bit of Hero mixed with Shady Lady but he'll get bonus points for three things

1) He's a famous ESC former participant/host

2) He's not unattractive

3) Greece could get loads of points if they sent a fat bald man standing still silently for three minutes so Sakis isn't likely to fail :heehee:

and of course, the song is very catchy and the performance seems to be one of the best from what I've read

If only i had at least ONE person in my Uni group that managed NOT to fall ASLEEP after the 5th song in the SF1 while watching it.

honestly :o but Malena was great, how could you fall asleep to an opera!?! :snif:

I can't believe I'm nearly alone with my La Voix worship, it has such a great melody

True, but TBH I think they could have ended up being too gay for Eurovision :kink:

it's like the sort of thing the UK would see as the 'perfect Eurovision entry' infact...I'm fairly confident Alcazar would have got 8-12 points from us :o
