Posted June 22, 200619 yr Dannii Minogue Considers Songwriting Career Dannii Minogue is considering becoming a songwriter for boy bands now her solo career is slowly climbing into the toilet and we can blame it all on Take That. She said: "People are missing a fun boy band. You can see from Take That's renaissance it would be great to have that back. "There's a distinct lack of good pop out there. "I just emailed some songs to my publisher for a boy band, so we'll see what happens. "But one day I'll want to hang up my high heels and I love the writing process, so doing something for other artists is a definite possibility. "I got into writing my own songs and producing because I was bored. I wanted to take it a step further." Source: Chartsingles

June 22, 200619 yr wouldnt dannii be far better of putting more work into her own career,,,,it doesnt make sense she takes up other projects when her own solo career isnt exactly on fire
June 23, 200619 yr well the way i look at it is if she wants do do writing that much and carve out a careeer she should should with writing decent tracks for herself,,,establish herown career further then move into writing for others beacuse as it stands she isnt known for writing good songs really
June 23, 200619 yr in a way gary barlow and cathy dennis are examples,,,,gary became well known as the man who wrote most of take thats biggest hits,,then he managed a few solo hits before his solo career flopped but still people knew he had done some great songs cathy dennis was the same she was known as a song writer and had a few hits in her time but i dont think cathy will ever have a bigger achievment than she had with her work on kylie's cantget you out of my head
June 23, 200619 yr actually i do have to say i really liked cathy dennis debut album evrybody move,,,,her follow up albums and singles never manged much success though,,her first album did very well
June 23, 200619 yr again i have to say as i mention i t gary barlow's first album open road did well enough and was a good enough album,,however his second album 12 months 11 days was a far better album in my opinion and it completly flopped
