I know i should don't like this album - it is cheesy and sweet - but for some reason i love it :wub: . It is nostalgic, has that irish sounding violin, east european feeling, retro sound of european pop of '60/'70. Who can ask for more? The only negative are the lyrics, which are not always at the same level with the music. But the music is sometimes to die for :cheer: (he should start to study english very hard to do good lyrics).

 

I do hope that Rybak won't end as a modern Clayderman or Andre Rieu but will develop his songwriting skills. As a beginning Fairytales is very good. I cannot wait to see what he will bring next :dance: . He has everything a pop star needs: talent, charisma, entarteiner, something that is differant from others: he only have to fulfill it.

 

I may end buying the album. The second album from an eurovision winner :lol: .

besides this one I own albums from esc winners such as Helena Paparizou, Marija Serifovic, Dima Bilan, and of course ABBA :)

but also many albums by a bunch of other esc artists!

Well, the drop was to be expected as the song was not in the Top 50 airplay in UK. Even Jade song hasn't last longer. No wonder why well-known artists from UK won't put their name on game . For what? :rolleyes:

 

I don't believe UK will give Rybak a chance for the album. At least i hope it will be in Top 40 in Germany. I may help it :lol: . I am sure it will do ok in scandinavian countries, at least Norway and Sweden.

I really doubt it, the UK is really ignorant of foreign artists most of the time. Agnes is only so big because she got the club success first...

You are right. UK rarely admits foreign artists, though i think alexander should go there while englishmen remember him.

Alexander Rybak is coming on the milk cartongs :wub: together with Oro Jeska Beana Who won the MGP Junior Nordic in 2008 :wub: Norway won in 2007 and 2008 :kink: I think :wacko: yes :D

I wanted to buy the CD today, nowhere to find. Two posibilities: 1. Rybak is so loved in Germany that all CD were sold (i will like that) 2. the stores do not care for him (but at least his single was in the store :teresa: ).
