Looking forward to seeing that Dave! I think it's too late for Guetta to be Sunday's number one, but top 5 is pretty much certain

I`m launching another chart, that will be better than Big Top 40. I`m going to slide it in to the first part of the Almost Sats. Going to call it "The Fit 30". Based on downloads, but (similar to the Fresh Hits Chart) it will only feature the new releases for Monday 15th, and no songs will be thrown out. Have a look at it tomorrow.

That will be interesting to read.

I used to listen to Hit40 Uk when Neil Fox used to present it, I personally used to like it because with the airplay included it excludes alot of the sh!t that is in the charts.

I think this is why Commercial Radio keep the airplay element in the top 40 to keep it 'radio freindly' Most commercial radio stations, i.e Real Radio etc will not devote 3 hours to a chart show if it is full of monotnous dance tunes and hip hip, as that is not the sort of music they play, as this type of music generally doesnt get as much airplay as stuff like Pink, Nickleback, Will Young etc dance and hip hop is kicked out of a chart like Hit40UK that has the airplay factor added in. Hit40UK keep the top 10 based on sales to keep it 'real' because most people want to know what the biggest selling single of the week is.

That's true, but then a lot of old stuff are still hanging around the chart.
