Jade Ewen's 2nd single will be the album's title track, Punching Out.

The song was written by Ina Wroldsen - who penned Saturdays singles 'Up' and 'Work' - and is produced by Andreas 'Quiz' Romdhane and Josef Larossi.

Single is expected in early 2010 ahead of the album.

Exciting, she deserves a good musical career after hearing her voice

Quiz and Larossi :cheer:

This better be fantastic, and it better go top 5 :D

It's ridiculous they've chosen a single before recording the whole album IMO. Could end up with a better song to lead with.

Sounds interesting. ^_^

I'm actually looking forward to hearing this for some reason. I mean 'It's My Time' was bland and I only liked it because of Eurovision but this has potential just from the title I feel.

im looking forward to hearing it but i think jade will struggle, my time didnt do great and thats with loads of hype promo and press so she has her work well and truly cut out

But IMT wasn't very good current...

I'm sure this will be incredible, I hope so!

This isn't the single that'll be launching the album though...

Opening post says:

The single will be released ahead of her albums release in September.

From a source on the Popjustice forum:

- Originally recorded by Pixie Lott

- The intro sounds a lot like 'Love In This Club' by Usher, the verses are quite downbeat and subtle

- The bridge gets exciting, and then the chorus is positively anthemic!

- Her voice sounds completely different to how it did on 'My Time', but still sounds perfectly suited to the song.

- Lyrics: ''I'll not be your waitress, clean up your own mess''

I'm quite excited for this! And I liked It's My Time, for what it was (a Eurivsion song) it was great and it served its purpose well.
Wow, sounds super super exciting, although I'm not sure about it being a Pixie cast-off :/
