Pleased for you Sparkle. Still no sign of mine. :nocheer:

Oh it always says 'no camera' on the tickets. I always take mine too. :teresa:

I reckon you will get yours tomorrow Jups, fingers crossed that you do.

;) I'm going to have to find a big handbag to put my telescope in

'Celtic are hopeful the first leg will go ahead as planned on 18 August but, with a U2 concert taking place at Hampden Park on the same evening, the police may ask for the game to be put back 24 hours.'

Oh come on. Surely this game has to be put back to the next day. You won't get near Glasgow with both Hampden and Parkhead being used on the same night. Plus tons of the Celtic fans will be U2 fans as well.

Will the footy match be on telly, Jups? If it is, maybe you could record it if you're at the concert.....

If not, double fark..... :arrr: :arrr:

I'm not bothered too much about the football. It's just the 2 stadia are quite close and it'll be almost impossible to get there by car. Total gridlock. I can't see the police allowing this?????

Perhaps they will postpone the football

Bit silly really, not much thought went into it.

Thing is, there will be nowhere for the Arsenal fans to stay. All the hotels will already be full up.

I'm seriously annoyed now. How feckin stupid.

The joyful ineptitude of the concert and footy scheculers......

Mainly the footy schedulers.....fark em all, anyhow....

oh wow, that's brilliant Nada :yahoo: is it Monday that you go?

Yes. That's second date, but it's actually announced first.

Btw, your ticket looks great. :D

And camera thing, here they said we can't bring professional camera, but other we can.

I'll take it. :D

Well the Celtic v Arsenal match is confirmed as being held on the same night as U2 concert. I'm not even sure I'm going to go now. It took me about 1 and a half hours to get through the gridlock just to see Brucie. And that was a night when the schools were off on holiday, the roads were quieter and there weren't 60,000 people also trying to get to Parkhead using the same main road.

I'm not really fancying sitting in a 5 hour traffic jam just to get nowhere and miss the concert anyway. I'm so f***ing angry. :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

Well done UEFA, Celtic and Strathclyde Police. Hope you're proud. -_-

Oh and U2 will probably be playing to a half empty stadium now as most of the Celtic fans will choose to go to Parkhead to watch the footie instead.

Oh and my tickets haven't arrived anyway. And now I've got a postal strike.

Apart from that everything is fine. :(

 Things are really messed up there.

:( oh Jups

Do you and your friends have the day booked off from work by any chance so

you can get there early afternoon maybe?

As for the postal strike and football match :arrr:

Still plenty of time to get your tickets, and if they don't come in time you

can arrange to collect at the box office instead.

Well, 3 of us have somehow managed to wangle a half day off work. Unfortunately the 4th can't get time off due to summer leave problems. So not sure what we're going to do.

Dump Friend No 4 and head off at noon?

No sign of tickets yet so I phoned Ticketmaster tonight. My tickets haven't even been dispatched yet. Apparently that message 'Your Order Has Been Dispatched' doesn't actually mean that....

Is this Nada's big night? :w00t:

That situation is terrible Jups :o Whoever is responsible for making that decision should be shot :o

At least you are sitting though, you wont have to worry about endless queueing etc. I guess you will have to leave friend #4 behind or she could try meet you later since you are sitting. Its very unfortuante though. Just make sure you get there, do whatever it takes :P
