June 11, 200916 yr http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...turns-grey.html Old Before I Die: Robbie Williams shows his age as his hair turns grey By Simon Cable Last updated at 1:49 PM on 11th June 2009 Perhaps it's the stress of recording a new album. Or maybe he simply thinks it looks sophisticated. But either way, Robbie Williams is clearly unconcerned that his once jet-black locks have turned decidedly ashen. The former Take That heartthrob, 35, looked like he had been taking style tips from grey-haired superstar Tom Jones as she stepped out in London yesterday. The Old Before I Die singer showed off his new look during break from a recording session at a west London studio. It has obviously been a growing problem for the singer, who sported the first flecks of grey hair when he grew a bushy beard two years ago. It comes at a time when the troubled star is trying to revive his career after his last album, 2006's Rudebox registered poor sales compared to his previous albums. He was forced to cancel a tour of Asia in the same year after suffering from stress and exhaustion while he also endured a spell in an Arizona rehab clinic for an addiction to anti-depressants. His fortunes are in stark contrast to his former Take That bandmates who have enjoyed a hugely successful comeback since they reformed three years ago without the singer. The group, who split in 1996, released a new album, Beautiful World in 2007 and which became the fourth biggest selling album of the year. They won two Brit Awards for the first two singles from the album, which also went to number one in the charts along with their follow-up album The Circus which was released last year. They have also announced plans for a lucrative tour beginning next month, to cash in on their new-found popularity. Despite speculation that Williams would rejoin Take That for the tour, his management has insisted that he is 'not ready' to perform with his old bandmates. ^_^ Instead Williams is trying to re-establish himself as a solo artist and in January he returned to Britain after five years living Los Angeles, along with his 29-year-old girlfriend, American actress Ayda Field. He now lives in a 71-acre country mansion in Wiltshire. He set up home in the 17th century manor while recording his new solo album which is planned for release later this year.
June 11, 200916 yr http://www.holymoly.com/news/robbie-willia...album13985.html Robbie Williams is back in the UK to finish recording his new album Thu, 11/06/2009 - 09:30 By Mr. Holy Moly He's back whether you like it or not. Robbie Williams turned up at a West London recording studio yesterday to put the finishing touches to his long awaited follow up to 'Rudebox'. We hate to say we told you so, actually that's not true - we love it. We told you so... As we revealed in the ace Holy Moly newsletter last Friday, Robbie has been rounding up his band and preparing them for a major tour later this year. Fan or no fan, Robbie is big business and has been sorely missed by the paps and tabloids as much as his fans. Put it this way, would you rather read about Robbie or Chris Martin? I rest my case. The male Lily Allen is back.

OK ...so the Mail start by talking about Robbie Williams & half way through break out in a Take That rash....typical ..... Was I dreaming when I read somewhere a couple of years back that Robbie Williams took home 36 ML net profit from his 2006 tour & has been taking a well earned break since ...so I guess you could say his career is in free fall....
June 11, 200916 yr Author I like how they say Beautiful World was the 4th bestselling album of the year. And omit the important part 'in the UK'. And fail to mention that Robbie's 'flop' album Rudebox outsold it.

It doesn't mean you are old, especially when you are just 33 like he was 2 years ago. For men its distinguished, for women, past it. So unfair - clair, Cornwall, 11/6/2009 13:12 TAKE WHO??? cMON ROBBIE, LETS HAVE A TOUR AND SHOW THEM WHO`S THE MASTER LOVE YA ROBBIEXXX - cara, NOTTS UK, 11/6/2009 13:11 So what? Good luck to you, Bob!! - CeeDee, Leeds, England, 11/6/2009 13:07 Serves him right. An album flop, a rubbish career and all after he left TakeTthat. We all know now who were the talent in that band, just look at them now. Go back to the States Mr Williams you are not wanted here. - michael, cambridge, 11/6/2009 13:04 Mmm...he looks a bit foxy there, I like a man with silver in his hair... - Ruby, Leeds, 11/6/2009 13:04 I think he looks great as EVER !! - Angela McMurtry, Australia, 11/6/2009 13:01 The 2005 pic looks dyed. He looks great love the jacket also! The best Ive seen him look in ages! - Lisa, Sydney Australia, 11/6/2009 12:34 Still very very sexy! In fact, more so! I'm still waiting for him to find and marry me... - Annika, London, 11/6/2009 12:25 My husband started going grey when he was 17. He's 41 now, and looks foxy with the silver hair! I think this suits Robbie!!! - Jane, Brisbane, Australia, 11/6/2009 12:18 love it, grey or silver thank god he has the guts to be natural - vivian, spain, 11/6/2009 12:09 He's still very handsome with or without the grey hair. - Victoria, Cypress, USA, 11/6/2009 12:07 I'm not too bothered about his hair - looks good. I'd be more concerned by how since he got rid of Guy Chanbers, all his music has flopped to the point where nobody really thinks of him anymore. Shows how he's just a good singer and not a true recording artist like the greats who wrote their own hits. - P Shah, London, 11/6/2009 12:02 It didn't do Philip Scholfield any harm. Loose and glasses and keep smiling. He still sounds good. LOOKS DON'T MATTER. - uvhater, Cramlington, Northumberland, 11/6/2009 11:50 Robbie IS NOT NEEDED FOR TAKE THAT ANYMORE! He can go back to singing rubbish songs and being the cheeky bloke from Stoke. Never Take That alone, they are brilliant without you! - Becky, Cardiff, South Wales, 11/6/2009 11:48 CORRRRRR...he still gorgeous with his grey hair ...... - Jane Pursell, Mexborough , England, 11/6/2009 11:46 Probably genetics more than anything else. He looks good so who cares.... - SD, Ottawa, Canada, 11/6/2009 11:46 Good for him. A lot of people go grey at a very early age - no big deal. Why cant people (especially magazines/papers) accept this. People should learn to love themselves instead of trying to have this and that altered all the time. Remember - each person is an individual. - Jan, North Oxfordshire, 11/6/2009 11:43 He was totally unattractive when he was with Take That (resembling a smug little schoolboy!) and he is equally unattractive now! I could never, and still cannot, see the attraction with this person! He thought he was bigger than Take That, hence his departure, he made his millions and now his fame and popularity are fading rapidly, he is trying to worm his way back into the band. Gary Barlow would be totally stupid to have him back! Don't do it Gary, you are great as a foursome, you do not need a spare part in Robbie (smug) Williams!! - Anon, M/cr, 11/6/2009 11:36 Corrr......he can be as grey as he likes.....in fact he could be bald for all i care, he's wonderfully, delightfully, sexy and hugely hugely talented. Ive missed you Robbie....hurry up and come back to us. Luv ya XXX - Julie, Essex, UK, 11/6/2009 11:33 If ever there was a guy that would benefit from being a dad its Rob. Loads of guys are terrified of the thought these days. - tony, preston, 11/6/2009 11:32 My fiance is 29 and he has the same colouring as Robbie his is ashen as well there is nothing wrong with it . It happens to everyone. George Clooney has the same hair and he looks lovely. - polly, Bristol, 11/6/2009 11:31 He's still a cheeky monkey....love him. - Kathe S, New Jersey, USA, 11/6/2009 11:29 At least he hasn't gone dark auburn like Paul & Cliff! - Hazel Anne Larmour, Ballygowan,Newtownards,N.Ireland, 11/6/2009 11:25 looks hot - sarah, manc, 11/6/2009 11:20 Delightfully yummy!!! Stay as you are Robbie - Pat, France, 11/6/2009 11:17 He looks great, very sexy can't wait for the the new album. - Julie Winter, Redhill, Surrey, 11/6/2009 11:16 He looks great, I think salt n pepper is really sexy, and looks very stylish.... - esquilant, Dunedin, NZ, 11/6/2009 11:12 Robbie you look Fab. A man with gray hair looks very distinguished. I don't know about other women out there, but I'd love to chat with this intelligent guy about crop circles, UFO's and life. Love you Robbie xxxx - Heather, Mumbles, 11/6/2009 11:01 It's called age! No one can be 21 forever - L Sherliker, NZ (ex pat), 11/6/2009 11:00 He is still a very sexy man!! I'm liking the grey hair xxx - Clare, Herts, 11/6/2009 10:59 An why shouldn't he show off his grey. It certainly looks better than the 'helmet' of black he has been sporting of late. Eros Rammazzotti is sporting the 'going grey look too'. - Linda, Expat, Ringsted, Denmark., 11/6/2009 10:57 HOT!!!! In fact it makes him even sexier because he's not covering it up. - Sarah, Essex, 11/6/2009 10:57 I love him, and I liked Rudebox. Can't wait for the new album. He's still gorgeous! - Suzanne, Pembrokeshire, 11/6/2009 10:52 Still gorgeous........ - Vicky, NZ, 11/6/2009 10:51 Mickey Mouse glasses as well!! - Reggie Mental, England, 11/6/2009 10:40 Better going grey early than bald. I think he still looks great. - Kenan, Newcastle, UK, 11/6/2009 10:36 He looks fine and he'll still have millions of women screaming for him - Cam, London, Broken Britain, 11/6/2009 10:35 Love it ! - Lisa, Hitchin, 11/6/2009 10:25 I love him with grey hair. - Louise, London, 11/6/2009 10:25 does the colour of his hair matter? i thought he was famous for his singing abilities!! - liz, colne, england, 11/6/2009 10:24 Gorgeous! The touch of grey does his looks absolutely no harm whatsoever! - Amanda, London. UK, 11/6/2009 10:20 I like it and I think it does add a bit of maturity to how he looks. I hope he will show the same level of maturity in his behaviour. Looking good, Robbie......looking good! - ann, bristol, 11/6/2009 10:06 Silver fox! He looks yum. - Karen, Dudley, West Midlands, 11/6/2009 9:58 it comes to us all, no escape even with bank full of monie at least he can dye it . - david, malaga, 11/6/2009 9:49 So what if he is going grey, who cares? It is a genetic thing as much as anything and so it makes him look even more enigmatic! Love ya, Rob and have missed ya. I do not care for the colour of your hair - I just want you back "Handsome Man". - Michele Jones, Essex, 11/6/2009 9:49 Good for Robbie! The fact of the matter is, that its never nice going grey young. I wish that I was that confident to give up the six weekly trip to the colourist! - Amanda, Milton Keynes, 11/6/2009 9:46 CORRRRRR..I still love him..X - Nicki Tyler, Broadwater, uk, 11/6/2009 9:46 His hair can turn blue, I dont care, he stays gorgeous Love him - Flower, South Africa, Eastern Cape, 11/6/2009 9:44 I think he looks better with the grey highlights personally. - Dee S, Essex, UK, 11/6/2009 9:44 He's 35 he is allowed some grey hair, not all men have to dye it. - Lizzie, Northants, UK, 11/6/2009 9:43 He looks great! A whole new Robbie, which is probably a very good thing, seen as people keep making comments that refer to his (musical) PAST. By the way: Rudebox was NO flop. - Mary, London, 11/6/2009 9:43 So he has some grey in his hair, most peopl do after 30, why is it always such a shock for the media nowdays ? - tony, Aylesbury, 11/6/2009 9:41 Oooh I like it! He looks sexy. I like men to stay grey, its much sexier than dyeing it (Paul McCartney, take note!) - Ellie, London, 11/6/2009 9:40 God he looks LOVELY - eva, a'dam holland, 11/6/2009 9:36 It is a fact that stress does not cause greying of the hair...it is hereditary. I think he looks great...always sexy! - S, London, 11/6/2009 9:33 He still looks very very good looking. Wish he had joined Take That on their tour! - Lesley, South Shields, UK, 11/6/2009 9:30 It's amazing that the media still report Robbies last album Rudebox to be a failure, while conveniently forgetting that it has sold more than the two recent Take That albums combined. Robbie doesn't need Take That!! - Philip Bunty, Manchester, 11/6/2009 9:27 Maybe he's just been painting the ceiling white... - H.M., Blandford, UK, 11/6/2009 9:26 Phwoar - he's still gorgeous. Men do get so much better with age. - Christina, Liverpool, 11/6/2009 9:25 Don't dye it Robbie, it looks good. Nothing wrong with grey, it looks better than fake shades of brown. - Mike, Liverpool, 11/6/2009 9:24 I think he looks even better - sharon, Australian in Spain, 11/6/2009 9:22 Good luck Rob! Hope it all goes well! - James, Knaresborough, 11/6/2009 9:19 Still looks good to me!!!! - Angela, Leicester, 11/6/2009 9:13 Oh dear. - Tommy, London, 11/6/2009 9:05 Grey Hair or no Grey Hair.....williams you are still hot! - rcp, herts, 11/6/2009 9:04 Leave the guy alone, he is simply growing old gracefully - annette, stafford, 11/6/2009 9:03 He looks like Elton John... - P, Tallinn, Estonia, 11/6/2009 9:02 Robbie you can wear anything or simply nothing... - Szilvi, Budapest, Hungary, 11/6/2009 8:45 Has everyone forgotten that Robbie was the only one out of all 5 to make it on his own, for 10 years. One bad album in all that time surely isn't so bad (even though I quite like it!!!) Sorry but I still love 'im and always will.....! - Terri Smith, Brighton, 11/6/2009 8:42 I dont see what the problem is......he,s aging!!! dont we all. only some of us, not me I hasten to add, cover up the signs....he is human and normal. Leave the bloke alone.. - Trixie, Derbyshire, 11/6/2009 8:41 Gorgeous! - Michelle, London, 11/6/2009 8:39 I have to say that the ageing grey look actually looks good on him, apart from the silly sunglasses - which are too small for his face - he is looking good... - Debbi, Aberdeen, 11/6/2009 8:32 I am 35, as are many of my close friends, and every week we always seem to compare how many grey hairs we have. I'm afraid it's just the ageing process - and none of us can blame 'the stress of recording an album'. Leave his hair alone and get back to the important task - rubbishing his inane musice. - jason, London, 11/6/2009 8:30 Nothing wrong with Robbie he still looks good - Mazziemo, North, 11/6/2009 8:22 He is only human for crying out loud !! He's still a handsome fellow (even if those glasses are silly)! - natalie, france, 11/6/2009 8:13 Robbie nice to see you back. I hope your new album is back to its best. - dee, gloucester, 11/6/2009 8:11 Good for him for not dyeing it. - pimple, norfolk, 11/6/2009 8:02 :P
