Their make-up is atrocious, especially the one in the middle.
Amazing performance, the girl on the right is officially my favourite

Exactly what I thought  her eyes are horrendous! Been done with very cheap make up! But good little performance! Really liking this now :D

Very good performance, the make-up is rather not very good lol but who cares!

Damn bloody radio 1.

Their make-up is atrocious, especially the one in the middle.

Agreed... Oh dear :/

Girls Can't Catch respond to Dolly jibes

Girls Can't Catch have refused to bite back after being criticised by the Dolly Rockers.

The pop newcomers release their first single 'Keep Your Head Up' on July 27 - just a month before the Dolly Rockers put out their own debut offering, 'Gold Digger'.

"We've heard that they don't like us, but we haven't heard any of their stuff yet so we can't really say anything about them," Girls Can't Catch star Jess Stickley told DS.

"They called us manufactured crap or something like that," her bandmate Daizy Agnew added. "That's their gimmick though - to slag everyone off. They're like 'We're stage school, but we're gonna pretend that we're not and be really outspoken'."

Last month the Dolly Rockers lashed out at The Saturdays, claiming that they "could have been five completely different girls and nobody would have given a s**t".

However, Saturdays star Rochelle Wiseman was quick to retaliate, labelling the group the "Dolly Trotters".

Girls Can't Catch deny Saturdays, Aloud rivalry

Girls Can't Catch have insisted that they feel no rivalry with their fellow girlbands.

The all-female pop trio, who release debut single 'Keep Your Head Up' on July 27, are signed to Fascination Records, the same label as Girls Aloud and The Saturdays.

"I think it's a privilege to say we're on the same label as these really successful groups. There's no rivalry or anything," band member Jess Stickley told DS.

"I like that Fascination has kind of become the girlbandy label. It feels really nice and sisterly," her bandmate Phoebe Brown added.

The group also insisted that they offer the pop world something different to their more established labelmates.

"Obviously we come from the same family as Girls Aloud and The Saturdays, but we're providing a little bit of variety," Daizy Agnew said.

"We're grittier and a bit dirtier - the way All Saints are to Spice Girls, Sugababes to Atomic Kitten."

They look like fools

Edited by Thёo

really hope it gets picked up by radio next week so it at least gets top 20, and then hopefully the 2nd single will go top 10!
not playlisted on Radio 1 again, but then, hardly shocking since they have no clue what's popular these days.

Erm.. what makes you think this type of stuff is 'popular' now? Because The Saturdays have had a few sucessful singles? That Girls Aloud are funnily enough slightly more successful because Cheryl Cole is on the X Factor?

Radio 1 have to cater for many different audiences but for some reason people seem to think on here that they should base what they put on the playlist as to how well they do in the singles chart and if that happened then everyone would only get one single of the playlist these days. Sales doesn't equal quality and Radio 1 play songs that their audience wants to hear, this may or may not be something for Radio 1 listeners but it's the kind of thing that is definitely for commercial radio listeners alongside the same old songs they've played for the last 30 years!

didn't do much for the Dannii Minogue SMASH Touch Me Like That, released whilst she was judging on X Factor

Although i don't agree with what he has put in most of that post. GA did perform on X Factor and Dannii didn't.

You're telling much crap lately ...

GA did perform on X Factor ? so did Leon Jackson, and a a lot of other guests, without ever reaching the popularity of "The Promise". "The Promise" was just a very radio friendly and popular song, it would have been a smash hit anyway.

Keep Your Head Up was played on Switch again today. Wonder if they're finally gonna get it playlisted.

Oh good news !

I didn't say that X-Factor got it all it's sales but it gave them a boost like any other TV program would with those figures. If Leon Jackson hadn't performed on X Factor his song wouldn't have dented the charts and if GA hadn't it wouldn't have got as bigger sales as it did that first week but probably would have ended up selling the same amount for the reasons you said. Also it's not like i'm saying performing on X Factor is a bad thing actually it's the reverse as it does give artists that initial sales boost and I hope Sugababes will be able to perform on their this year for their second single but it is doubtful.

It's my fault for not putting my point across in a detailed manner so I apologize for that.
