June 20, 200916 yr The first two albums are brilliant. Thought at the time I first heard them I would never hear such a violent musical sound. Until I heard Ministry et al that is. Definitely left a huge legacy for the future industrial sector.
June 20, 200916 yr excellent group who I saw live at Newcastle's Mayfair in 1984. The bass player, Youth, went on to produce a number of singles in the late 80s and early 90s. He was also behind Blue Pearl who had a number of hits in the early 90s, including the excellent Naked In the Rain.
June 20, 200916 yr Brilliant band..... but my favourite track of theirs is this one, the stunning 'My Love Of This Land', one of their later, more commercial, tracks.... (which, strangely, flopped... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GIhuFdaLCw I love Youth's production, too - from the sheer pop brilliance of Blue Pearl's 'Naked in the Rain' to even greater pop brilliance.... Bananarama's best ever moments, 'Only Your Love', 'Long Train Running' and 'Preacher Man' :heart:
