i could of saw them yesterday actually, but i wanted to go home to sleep (been to Reading Fest, they were doing a show in HMV Reading) definatly bad timing to bother going.

I was really looking forward to this. But in the end album was an massive letdown. :( As Chris pointed out why the album possibly won't be as good as their last, those exact reasons are what led to this being so overly inconsistant and uninspired.

Their last record was so spot-on, they developed catchy hooks to match with their built layers but now they've sort-of lost those strengths in an almost carcrash way. . Cheat On Me is a great track but still nowhere near ANY of their singles from their last era in terms of quality. Infact the only songs (excluding Cheat On Me) out of the entire album I got round gaining a liking for were Save Your Secrets, a lyrical style that was quite likable and with great instrumentals to match. And then City Of Bugs which had really lush production and was quite original + so on. They're a very emotive band but this hardly comes across in the album AT ALL, it's as if they were too worried to go OTT with this so they instead played it safe and thought only good production and guitaring would make a great album which IMO did anything but.

"Nothing" is a brilliant track though, best on the album imo.
