Posted June 22, 200916 yr http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm76/blissfulignorance_2008/bullboard.jpg Hi everyone, here's the new Sunday Bullboard chart, on a Monday! Blame BJSC (thanks again for all your votes for Infernal :yahoo:) As ever, the chart is based on official sales and radio airplay data. If you want to know more about this chart, go here. A new addition is the Gold and Platinum awards, which are awarded when songs reach 20 and 30 weeks on the chart respectively. Dropping out this week: BAT FOR LASHES Pearl's Dream (Peak: 40, Wks: 1) KASABIAN Underdog (Peak: 48, Wks: 1) AIRI L When Love Takes Over (Peak: 35, Wks: 1) LADY GAGA Feat. Colby O'DONIS Just Dance (Peak: 2x1, Wks: 24) BULLBOARD GOLD PRETENDERS, The Love's A Mystery (Peak: 42, Wks: 2) So we've lost some smaller hits of the last few weeks, some more deserved than others, and Lady Gaga's huge debut single. But don't worry, we've got five huge chart entries this week - and they're all BRAND NEW :w00t: It's all go in the all new Bullboard Chart! Want to see who's where this week? Read on... Pixie sticks at number one, though David And Kelly are snapping at her heels. Can't see La Roux beating it to number one this next week... Amazing position for Take That too, who get their first Billboard top 5 since The Greatest Day... So who will be number one next week? Only time will tell! Hope you enjoyed the chart. PLEASE leave any comments or feedback, and let me know if you'd like to see a retro chart :) Thanks! :D

June 22, 200916 yr On Bullboard. Her airplay is good but not stellar right now, and I can't see it flying up. Ohh. I do think her airplay will go up quite a bit next week though.
June 27, 200916 yr After checking this for a while, and eventually reading how it's put together, do you have any idea of a change in airplay to sales etcetera?
June 27, 200916 yr Author You mean how I balance it? It's basically 50-50. I don't know if that's fair, but since the raw data, the actual numbers of records sold and audience impressions (the amount of people that hear a certain song on the radio), aren't available to me, I felt this was fairest. It's the system that the independent radio chart used until very recently, but weirdly it does seem to give more impact to airplay hits. By the way, I made a little mistake on Monday, the 12-14 should read: 12 29 LADY GAGA Paparazzi 13 12 VERONICAS, The Untouched 14 27 Jordin SPARKS Battlefield Let's see how it affects things on Sunday
