June 24, 200916 yr agreed on all counts...I just don't 'get' PJ's Songs Of The Day usually... I tried blogging once and gave up after a couple of posts...why bother if nobody is likely to read it!?! I find PJ's Songs Of The Day a bit bland. Of course, there's your Crazy Possessive, M.A.G.I.C, Medicine, Hurtful's and then there's the 'way too late to be song of the day' songs. But, generally, they're a bit meh.
June 24, 200916 yr so how did you not notice Robots In Love :kink: I really only follow that one and PJ, and visit a few others when they pop up on search engines, but not religiously by any means I did notice it, I liked it but it took me another ten listens to realise it to be absolutely FANTASTIC (to the extent that I'm using it for an audition on Friday!), and at that time I was pretty set on sending Kaciiii
June 24, 200916 yr Dropping Christophe Willem and taking Frankmusik please :kink: Is he really Hollys bf? Thought he was gay...
June 24, 200916 yr Author I did notice it, I liked it but it took me another ten listens to realise it to be absolutely FANTASTIC (to the extent that I'm using it for an audition on Friday!), and at that time I was pretty set on sending Kaciiii  tell me more :o what is this an audition for? I wonder what I heard on first listen that others missed :heehee:
June 24, 200916 yr Oh if ONLY Tom :( He went to my school (yeah, I KNEW FRANKMUSIK BEFORE HE GOT BIG...and also before he went electropop and was a beatboxer called 'Mr Mouth') and was quite definitely not gay...although I hold out hope he's secretly bisexual :kink: tell me more :o what is this an audition for? I wonder what I heard on first listen that others missed :heehee: Oh, 'tis an audition for a musical, and given we have free choice for songs to audition with I figured this made natural sense as it's the only non-explicit/non-quirky song I'm addicted to at the moment which one could use to showcase vocals (although I'm VERY tempted to go for In For The Kill if only so I could shock the judge with the in-pitch middle eight :heehee:)
June 24, 200916 yr I guess I won't take Holly Valance's other half then! Sorry, I didn't realise that was a reservation... He doesn't really have the Numayanian sound, but I'm having trouble finding good Swedish dance pop this month :nocheer: Point me towards something like that and you can have him :kink:

June 24, 200916 yr Obviously - I doubt I'd get a part if I went for IFTK! Plus, it's far too loff to not do
June 24, 200916 yr Author I would campaign for a UK release but it would be a bit fruitless I think...it's far too twee to do well here
June 24, 200916 yr I would campaign for a UK release but it would be a bit fruitless I think...it's far too twee to do well here Just flog it to Popjustice and leave them to do the rest! :P Weren't we all saying Agnes was far too *insert amazing characteristic here* to do well earlier this year anyway? Never say never with the British public's astonishingly good tastes this year...
June 24, 200916 yr Oh, and speaking of which...now is REALLY the time to campaign for a release for 'Will You Remember Me Tomorrow?' given the success of Agnes! :o
June 24, 200916 yr Author I did a campaign for that song to AATW and Hard2Beat to no avail, and I seriously doubt any other label would want it plus Agnes is being marketed as a dance act here, which Margaret wouldn't be able to...Fascination could take a risk with her but I doubt they would in this recession :(
June 24, 200916 yr Ss8KhyfsHds What'cha thinkkkk? ;o   but wasn't Yelle - A Cause Des Garçons entered before, cos it's a cover...
June 24, 200916 yr  but wasn't Yelle - A Cause Des Garçons entered before, cos it's a cover... Has it been entered? ;o :( I know 'Ce Jeu' has ;o
June 24, 200916 yr yes it's always handy when This Must Be...POP! update their songs of the last month list :kink: That was one of the first sites I discovered when I got the internet back in the day, and was a reason why I took the more assertive name moniker on here. The Thiefs track that they have posted within the last week is a definite new entry in my Personal Chart when I post it (probably) tomorrow. Conversely, it is probably why I've not always been over impressed by some songs entered in the BJSCs as I heard them on there first.
June 24, 200916 yr Oh, and speaking of which...now is REALLY the time to campaign for a release for 'Will You Remember Me Tomorrow?' given the success of Agnes! :o I'd think you'd have more success sending it to producer Pete Waterman, Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian 'H' Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans & especially :kink: Lisa Scott-Lee. I'm convinced that song has triumphant late 2009 comeback with contemporary sounding electro-pop meets classic old school Steps sound written all over it.
