Big Bang is a Korean musical group of five, with both vocals and rap styles.

'Emotion' is produced by RedOne and is already? released in J-Pop/Korean? this summer in Korea/Japan etc but an English version

will be arriving ready for their Europe & USA debut later this year.

The song sounds like a halfway house between 'Darin - Breathing Your Love' and 'Lady Gaga - Pokerface', though its not quite as good.

Can't really see this doing much when its released considering the likes of Boa etc have been ignored with great songs already this year.

There are better Korean boybands [see: Dong Bang Shin Gi | SHINee | FT Island | Shinhwa] but Big Bang are pretty good. In Japan, where the song was released last week as their debut single, it reached #3.

Korean invasion part 2 is underway :wub:

RedOne = yawn.

He is a bigger recycler than Timbaland.

Which song of theirs had a video based on Dreamgirls? I liked that.

Anyway, I think this is great personally. Little bit of Remedy in there too. Certainly sounds fresher than the average J-pop boyband.

I agree actually, it's getting to the point where all his productions are following the exact same formula. 'Remedy' was a nice break in the chain, but it's not hard to see why sometimes a producer or a type of sound is only a mere passing fad.
