Well if I didn't know if was the Sugababes it would have taken me until the "when I'm driving in my car..." bit to realise it was Keisha and the "feel it boys" (?) bit by Amelle wouldn't instantly make me think of her.

 

I'm glad they've changed, not all girl groups would take such risks, but I think this is a step down for them. Sugababes are meant to be the group with something different, an edge, but it seems they're getting more generic as time goes by.

The lyrics are VERY simple to be honest. :heehee: But this is kind of song which doesn't need clever lyrics.

I don't think they necessarily want to go that way but they HAVE to in order to survive. Their last album didn't appeal to most people so they knew they needed to go down a more "generic" route, as you say. Thats what I think anyway.

Talking about #1 by the way... They have a very strong competitor: Dizzee Rascal. His song is really good and the hype about him is enormous, 'Holiday' is released in the same period (maybe even 31st Aug also) as our Sugas. It will be VERY tough!

Is 31st Aug the definite release date for this?

Release schedule says it but the things may change coz it is almost two months! These are two monsters of a songs and better not to be released digitally in the same week!
