Hi all,

I was hoping someone might be able to help me place chart peaks beside these listed songs.

They are all taken from the historic HITS series, between the years 1995-2000 and I have compiled a spreadsheet of stats for each song, but these ones I am unable to find chart history for.

Please help or suggest sources as my main one at the moment is Everyhit.com which only covers Top 40 chart hits.

Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day' was from his 1972 album 'Transformer'. He was part of the group of artists who re-recorded it and released it for CIN in 1997. I imagine they only had rights to the original though?

For Oasis, 'Champagne Supernova' was never realesed, only sent to radio. 'D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman?' was a B-side to 1994's 'Shakermaker'

There's always www.polyhex.com, which has top 100, or www.chartstats.com (same deal) From a quick search:

HITS 96 Mr. Roy Something About You (Can't Beat It) 49 (1wk) (proper title Something About U (Can't Be Beat), originally released 1994 as Something about you, charting at 74 for one week)

HITS 96 Motiv8 And Kym Mazelle Searching For The Golden Eye {40}-48-73 (proper group name Motiv 8)

NEW HITS 96 Meltdown My Life Is In Your Hands 44 (1wk)

BIG HITS Lightning Seeds What You Say {41}-66-73-64-71

BIG HITS Enya Only If... {43}-61

BIG HITS 98 Martha Wash Catch The Light [Todd Terry's 'M&T' Radio Mix] 45 (1wk)

HITS 99 Alberta Yo-Yo Boy 49-{48}-58

BIG HITS 99 Imajin No Doubt {42}-73

FRESH HITS VOLUME 2 Vertical Horizon Everything You Want {42}-66 (loved this )

Great work Kay, I never knew of that website before, but it's bookmarked now!

Good work indeed! ^_^

BIG HITS Lou Reed Perfect Day

Seeing as this is from 1997 then I guess it's

Various Artists - Perfect Day {1}-1-2-2-3-3-1-4-10-14-16-23-25-49-56-58-59-61-71-73R(2)-68

Tom, but no problem

There's always www.polyhex.com, which has top 100,

Just a very small correction, polyhex has top 75 instead of top 100 ;)

NEW HITS 98 Wham! Everything She Wants '97 (originally no. 2 as Double A-side of White Chritmas in 1984) - George Michael refused to allow Last Christmas to be re-released as a single in the UK. This was after the single had been re-released for a second time in 1986, he got the record label to agree to never re-release it again.

BIG HITS 98 Hi-Rise I Believe In Miracles (cover of Jackson Sisters, number 72 in 1987) - #106, 19/09/98 (chart run 106-184-OUT)

HITS 2001 Fused Saving Mary - #121, 23/12/00 (chart run 121-OUT)

the other songs in Tom's list of did not chart either weren't released as singles or failed to make the larger top 200 chart.
