Wow I am so surprised by this "Supernova" track I saw the video on TV a few days ago and that was the first time I heard it! I hope he can get to number one though, although I'm not a fan of the song, a new #1 is good and I'm going off the JLS song now.

I hope Never Forget You makes the top 10 it has a real back to black Amy Winehouse sound to it. Cept there lead singer aint a crackwhore which is nice.

I am really hoping they (Mr Hudson is a band) overthrow JLS this week :)

Box n Locks is flopping quite hard atm, at #150 :(

I don't think that Mr Hudson could overtake JLS but I'm hoping... he does very very very well.

Also, just noticed Poker Face is lower than usual for the weekend :o Only #20

And Jamie T is yet to fall the amount he usually falls on weekends, he is as high as #31...

Strange that the weekend effect is not as strong this weekend as it normally is.

I just rechecked Wikipedia, and apparently the album Supernova is from is a solo album, so yeah, you're actually right. Sorry, :lol:

It's very confusing that the band Mr Hudson and the singer Mr Hudson go by the same name.

Yes. And I've always though iTunes was 24 hours. Often stuff will be released on a Monday/late sunday, reach fairly high on iTunes and still be significantly lower in Tuesdays mids, because it can't take into account more than 24 hours...

Nice to see Noisettes in the top 20 with "Never Forget You" I think it's much better than "Don't Upset the Rhythm". So it's nice to see it get the recognition is deserves. Such a shame for 3OH!3 though, they were doing so well and all of a sudden their falling loads. I just hope they can climb next week.

There may not be a proof, but it's fairly obvious by watching the trends that it is a 48-hr rolling chart.

Its either 48 hours or 72 IMO.

 

I actually think its 72 hours based on a couple of weeks back when Jordin along with a couple of others made massive jumps on early Tuesday afternoon that could only be explained by the fact that Saturday sales were being removed from the rolling average at that point.

Wikipedia, the fountain of all knowledge, say Mr Hudson the band used to be called Mr Hudson and The Library, but changed it to just Mr Hudson.
