Posted July 16, 200916 yr (Since the NB forum is going to be archived v. soon ...) She's working on her new album at the moment, and revealed the names of Wycleff, Sam Sparro and Mike Elizondo so far. Sounds goods, although I don't think she will release anything before Sping 2010 ... New performances for the 4th of July in Washington DC : Pocketful of Sunshine  mpTHQ7FF9RE Sing a song... with those muppets  LOLZ tSxyZBDzImM
July 16, 200916 yr Author Whatever happened about Pocketful of Sunshine, did it actually get released here? Nope, it was for North America only ;) Silly, I know :(
July 16, 200916 yr Pocketful is one of the best pop songs of the decade. The album was great too. Big shame that the UK never got it and that Piece Of Your Heart/Put Your Arms Around Me went unreleased...
July 16, 200916 yr My friend's friend is dating the person that wrote most of the songs on her first album :D Anyway bleugh, not very interested in this, and I think the public have pretty much forgotten about her. She could be a hit again, but she'll have to come out all guns blazing if she wants to do it.
July 16, 200916 yr I was so gutted I missed her by one day when I was in Florida a couple of weeks ago. She was performing at Universal Studios on Sat 27th June, but I flew home the day before  !!! Literally could not get away from Natasha Bedingfield the whole 2 weeks I was in Florida - I heard her music literally everywhere, saw her videos all the time in places like Planet Hollywood etc and I don't think there is a day I didn't hear her song or see something about her!! July 16, 200916 yr Very very veyr very exited about this. Pocketful of Sunshine was an incrediblly amazing album and so hopefully this next one is something similar. She better be sucsessful in the UK this time.
July 16, 200916 yr I hope she focuses on the UK this time. She put more effort into her U.S. release than in the UK

July 16, 200916 yr 'Love Like This' was so awful, never liked it. 'Pocketful Of Sunshine' was a great pop song, it's a great shame the UK didn't get that instead. :( Would have done really well. I've lost interest in her lately but she is one of my favourites, so I'm sure interest will be regained when a new album arrives. :D

Big shame that the UK never got it and that Piece Of Your Heart/Put Your Arms Around Me went unreleased... agree, it was everything that N.B. wasn't...brilliant album  Freckles was one of my favourites, really nice lyrics...my rate; 9.5 Put Your Arms Around Me 9.5 Pocketful Of Sunshine 8.5 Happy 9.0 Love Like This 9.0 Piece Of Your Heart 9.5 Soulmate 9.5 Say It Again 9.0 Angel 9.5 Backyard (one of my faves from N.B. too) 9.5 Freckles  7.0 Who Knows 7.5 Pirate Bones 7.0 Not Givin' Up wasn't overkeen on the inclusion of those three N.B. tracks on the end though...I still prefer Unwritten as an album though, Silent Movie, Wild Horses, Stumble (from the US version), If You're Gonna and the singles were all easy 9/10's at least

July 16, 200916 yr I was there LOL. Just to see fireworks but we heard Natasha was performing so we went to watch lawlz.

Sounds goods, although I don't think she will release anything before Sping 2010 ... Wyclef was also in the studio with Estelle when he was with Natasha. I'm hoping for them to do another collaboration, but it's more likely that Wyclef was just working with Natasha and Estelle in one session for different projects. :( Sort of looking forward to this, despite only having her Pocketful... album on my iTunes.
