DGUTS has been removed and changed back to The Lodger - which is shockingly better than DGUTS. Silly press office just sent me ep 10 to watch instead of ep 9 :kink:
May 27, 201015 yr Probably nowhere near and I don't know if I want to know lol but never mind. DGUTS/The Lodger is that anything to do with that set of extra stairs leading up to the attic that can't be there in Amy's house or something. Probably not been reading far too much speculation these past few weeks. Can't wait for the complete boxset to come out. Surprised the first 3 eps are only released on DVD/BLU on 7th June. Seems like there might be a bit of a wait, for me to go through all the episodes from Rose to the final ep of S5.

May 29, 201015 yr Author Loved that ep. Already watched it three times :lol: Normally part II's can be iffy but that was full of stuff. I wasn't excited about the Silurians but they proved me wrong. Poor Rory :( I'm guessing though he'll be back in the finale... And that bit of Tardis...intiguing!
May 29, 201015 yr OH.MY.GOD. What an episode, couldn't believe it when Rory got shot! As far as i know. he's credited in the finale, so I can see himcoming back via the Pandorica and everyone remembering everything when the crack is reversed. But yeah, awesome episode.
May 29, 201015 yr Quite a cringey episode overrall, and a disappointing follow up to the far superior previous episode. :( I felt awful for Amy and Rory though. :cry: And I'm also interested in the TARDIS piece thingy. D: 7/10
May 29, 201015 yr I think it's a definite that Rory will be back as Amy wouldn't have said she thought she saw someone else and there is the ring of course which as still in the Tardis. I too am intrigued by the piece of the Tardis. Are the Silurians definitely back for the final eps?

May 30, 201015 yr loved it! as you know ive been very critical of this seriese and of matt smith, but im getting used to him now. thought this two parter was vintage dr who...only done better...in as much that the sets (underworld city) was OUTSTANDING and not wobbly flimsey cardboard things. ok they dont get off earth (my main bug bare with dr who) but it may as well been off earth, apart from the fact that theyd roast in molten larva and air pressure would be immense! lol, it was superb. 9/10.
May 30, 201015 yr Massively impressed with that episode. An improvement on the already solid first episode. Glad the Silurians retained their conflicting natures (some being aggresive and others more benevolent) tha was a feature of the classic series. Great production design all round and a solid performance from all the cast. Actually a shame about Rory as I was starting to quite like him but a very effective and well played death scene and an intriguing finale with the shrapnel.
June 2, 201015 yr Zomg, I just read Doctor Who Magazine's (yes, I'm sad) synopsis of the final 2 episodes, and OH MY GAH! It sounds freaking awesome! :w00t: Bring on the 19th and 26th of June! :w00t: :w00t:
June 2, 201015 yr Having finally gotten round to watching the last episode on I-Player I have to agree, the 2 parter was probably my favourite of the series and it's somewhat hard to believe the improvement between the latest batch of episodes and the firt few episodes. Rory's death was rather sad, however you could rather tell that it wasnt the last we'd seen of him.....
