Great episode, loved the ending! Don't know what else to say really... 8.5/10 Next week's episode is gonna be great though! :D

Love the episode, it started of slow, but I love the ending, the Snow Patrol track at the end really made the episode in the end, and the Sunflowers dedicated to Amy was very fitting and tearful. I found this episode just a filler though, but it works very well as a stand alone episode. 7/10

Oh heck James Bloody Corden next week, one guy I literally hate.

And I'm beginning to think the first 2 Drs are going to be re-digitally added to the final episode, as William Hartnett and Patrick Troughton seem to be re-curring throughtout the series, just a hunch.

S'allright. Bit of a come down after last week's brilliance but still very good :D

Athlete ;)

Another brilliant episode. Loved the use of the song at the end, and it was very moving when the sunflower painting was dedicated to Amy. Next week's episode looks incredible, very excited about it!

After last week's underwhelming second of two parts episode. Tonight's Van Gogh episode was without question the best episode of Series 5 by a mile.

The Blink of 2010. Richard "Black Adder; Four Weddings & a Funeral; The Vicar Of Dibbley; Bridget Jones's Diary, etc" Curtis can write as many Doctor Who episodes as he likes IMHO.

10/10

PS. Let's just hope that next week's episode is not the Love & Monsters of 2010. :manson:

And it stuck to the law that says that everything written by Richard Curtis has to have a part for the wonderful Bill Nighy :cheer:

Loved the early generation iPad too.

hmm.... mixed for me, some great bits, some rather :puke2:

the alien thing was marvelous! what a great idea, what a good creature..

van gogh was good

thought the alien scenes were too short, i didnt like the romance thing (bloody 'love actually' curtis  ) emotional bollox... nah... episode ruined.

NOOOOOOOOOOO turn dr who into a chick flick programme with all nicey picey twee happy endings?.. sod that.

Funny. I could have sworn Vincent Van Gogh still committed suicide at the end of the episode.

Still I don't know what planet you are on to call the ending of Richard Curtis' greatest work as "nicey picey twee happy endings":

I'd hate to see your idea of a horrible morbid sad ending, as it would probably be so depressing it would make Radiohead slit their wrists.

i take NOTHING away from curtis's work on blackadder... utterly brilliant.

but all those soppy gurly films with hugh foppish grant are :puke2:. and this emotional bollox is what he brought to dr who... and THAT is clearly what i was refering too as 'nicey picey twee'. it ruined a great idea with a new kind of alien... dr who is a sci fi prog, not a rom com.

what a brilliant episode, this series is going from strength to strength. Did anyone notice the doctor talking about Rory, well accidentally said his name? I think it's obvious that he'll be back now.

Not too sure what to think about next weeks episode from that clip, it seems like an episode without too much of the doctor in and I don't really rate some of those episodes very highly.

'Blink' and 'Turn Left' are my top 2 episodes, so I reckon I'll love this! :w00t: I love seeing normal people without the screwdriver and whatever saving everyone on Earth rather than the Doctor going to the other side of the galaxy to save someone. :P

Oh, the Doctor saying Rory's name by accident and Amy saying "I'm not actually the marrying kind" :(

id much rather see him go across the galaxy to save someone, otherwise what use is having a tardis? he could just have a 'tard'...lol.

earth people in the future need help on other planets, far more interesting the basing everything on earth.
