June 26, 200619 yr Chamillionaire: Ridin feat Krayzie Bone Still a favourite at MW HQ, this former US number one is set for big things. Contact: Shane O'Neill, Island (single, August 14 - Island) Cassie: Me & U Distinctly original, stripped back pop with an urban edge. Already off to a good start at radio, this single has the potential to be absolutely massive. Contact: Katie Havelock, Atlantic (single, August 14 - Bad Boy) Vega 4: You & Me Currently supporting Hope Of The States on their UK tour, Vega 4’s new single is a big radio friendly delight with a memorable hook. Contact: Jakub Blackman, SonyBMG (single, August 7 - Columbia) The Killers: When We Were Young A sure fire single contender from The Killers new album, this track possesses a Springsteen-esque open heartedness, not to mention a big hook, that is utterly addictive. Contact: Rachel Hendry, Universal (single, tbc - Vertigo) Does It Offend You, Yeah: We Are Rockstars Occupying a similar musical space to Justice, on this track DIOYY manage to slip a big pop hook whack bang in the middle of their sonic, aural assault. Nice. Contact: Al Lovell, Coalition (unsigned, demo) Dashboard Confessional: Don't Wait The original emo-crossovers return with a big, guitar driven pop song, which should position them comfortably at commercial radio. Contact: Hayley Connelley, Mercenary (single, August 21 - Vagrant) McFly: Please, Please After their success in 2004, McFly have again teamed up with Comic Relief for the official Sport Relief single. Contact: Heather Redmond, Island (single, July 17 - Island) Coldcut feat. Robert Owens: Walk A Mile.... The definitive highlight from Coldcut’s latest album finally gets a commercial release. Contact: Amanda Freeman, Sainted (single, August 21 - Ninja Tune) Camille: Le Fil The UK debut from this Parisian talent is a stunning piece of work. Musically, adventurous and utterly captivating. Contact: John Crosby, PR (album, out now - Angel) Alesha: Lipstick The debut single from Alesha Dixon is an energetic summer pop song with a distinctive edge. The start of good things to come. Contact: Sundraj Sreenivasan, Polydor (single, August 14 - Polydor)
