September 28, 200915 yr God this song sucks live. None of them can pull it off. Una was the only decent one IMO.

September 28, 200915 yr It's not that bad. It's painful tbh. I love them, but no, that is as bad as I expect a live performance from Cheryl Cole or Sarah Harding to be. September 29, 200915 yr DS review: That they already feel like a fairly prominent fixture on the pop landscape – call them a largeish barn – is a testament to The Saturdays' work ethic. They've cranked out five singles, completed a 24-date UK tour and bagged lucrative endorsement deals with everyone from Samsung to, erm, Tampax. Now, less than a year since their debut came out, they're about to release That Difficult Second Album. Lead single 'Forever Is Over' finds them shifting away from glossy electropop and taking a few stiletto steps into pop-rock territory. There's no denying that the big, beltalong chorus hits its target, and Una Healy shines on the guitary middle 8, but this lacks the spark that made their debut such an unexpected delight. Fortunately for them, there's better stuff on the album – if you don't believe us, track down the live versions of 'Wordshaker' and 'One Shot' on YouTube. http://images.digitalspy.co.uk/design/rating_3stars.gif http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a179583/...er-is-over.html
October 1, 200915 yr only 'b' listed on radio 1?... oh dear.... tbh things are not looking good and whilst digital spy reckons theres better material on wordshaker they are in some danger here. frankie was actually spot on on paul o'grady, (for once she uttered something intelligent! lol) "if this album doesnt do well there wont be a third" .... there is a real chance here that they will be dropped early in the new year IF wordshaker fails to make a return on its investment. (pretty much in line with what us older peeps were telling you a year ago....)
October 1, 200915 yr I dont think we needed telling tbh lol. It's pretty much common sense to know that if the 2nd album doesnt do well, well it's not good news. Una said on Saturday and then Frankie repeated it - no doubt it'll be mention every interview now :heehee: Threaten us into buying it! It's true though FIO is one of my least fav songs on the entire album. At this stage I have not one small piece of understanding as to why it was chosen to lead such a crucial campaign.
October 1, 200915 yr 60 second preview of the B-side The Saturdays have generally delivered the B-side goods so far - remember their 'Golden Rules' from earlier this year? - so we couldn't wait to hear what they'd popped on the flipside to their latest single, 'Forever Is Over'. In contrast to the belting vocals and pop-rock influences of the A-side, 'I Can't Wait' is a subtler electropoppy offering that recalls the more subdued moments from their debut album. It's a bit of a grower, but the light and breezy chorus wends its way into your brain after a few spins, making this another decent B-side from the girls. The full version is available on the 'Forever Is Over' CD single, out Monday, but for now here's a 60-second preview: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a179959/...days-track.html
October 1, 200915 yr Author Dont you just hate it when Rob's kinda right? Anyway, looking forward to the B-Side in full.
October 1, 200915 yr Dont you just hate it when Rob's kinda right? Anyway, looking forward to the B-Side in full. tbh i hope im wrong! i like the idea of 'classy sexy' girls singing in harmony live.... but tbh i think my initial thoughts on the sats are possibly nearer the mark... and those huge threads in the pop forum that i along with tip, grimly and a few others perpetuated are likely to be proven right about.
October 1, 200915 yr They led with 'If This Is Love' for the last album which was not the strongest on the album. I think 'Forever Is Over' is quite good, obviously not the best on the album but I don't see this doing that badly.

(bare in mind that i LIKE it! )
