It's a JD production but nobody seems to know if it's a single from Memoirs or just off the Precious soundtrack.

Hopefully off precious, I would be suprised if they have given up on Obsessed already, although Perez is claiming its the next single.

This CAN'T be the next single? "Obsessed" is gaining HARD on all formats now (continuing to take off on Pop) and it's weeks away from reaching it's peak, so I can't see this being the new single. It will be a major error on the part of IDJ, as patience is definitely a virtue in this case.

Nah I think it's just off the Precious Soundtrack... Plus didn't everyone think that H.A.T.E.U. was supposed to be the next single? The video for Obsessed has just been released not long ago! Craziness if this is the new single, but then again IDJ are seemingly butchering this era just to maintain consistency after the last.

I hope, and think it's going to be on the "Precious" soundtrack, like Kelly.

 

MiMi Dumps Out Another Single - Quickly!!!

Mariah Carey is rushing out another single off of her delayed new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, after the first single, Obsessed, failed to even crack the top 10 on the charts.

 

The song is sinking sinking sinking!

 

According to Jermaine Dupris's Twitter the new song is said to be called 100%, and just made its radio debut on Monday. We're assuming he produced it.

 

Hope this one doesn't stink like poo too!

Perez Hilton sucks. Seriously, where is the confirmation that it's the new single? And is he completely unaware that "Obsessed" is growing rapidly on radio? Looking at the spin increase as it is now, this will definitely reach a new peak on the BB Hot 100. Increased radio performance = more sales. It's as if the world's gone crazy calling "Obsessed" a flop. It may, randomly, hit a brick wall and stall, but until then people need to stop making this stupid assumption without acknowlegding it's growth.

After recent postings elsewhere about Perez Hilton, I think he has lost all credibility as a source for entertainment news.

Turns out Jermaine got this played without permission so when the label were alerted they pulled the track from Hot 97. Guess we won't hear it for a while. Sounds like JD is really bitter about having his work with Mimi minmised this time around...

I did! I think it's fair to say though that a fair chunk of that love was born out of the fact that it was such an insane, ridiculous song.

LOL, when I first heard "Bye Bye" I was "OMG THIS IS FOR MY PEOPLE'S WHO JUST LOST SOMEBODY!" and all that. Once I got over the initial lamb-like reaction, I realised it was not that great. ;)

The snippet sounds OK. Doesn't sound as stunning as the "H.A.T.E. U" snippet, though, but this isn't even on "MOAIA" is it?
