August 2, 200915 yr I vastly prefer Eminem music to Mariah's. However on this subject Eminem has come across as a bit of an insecure jerk. So I feel inclined to condemn Eminem on this instance. Still maybe MTV should revive its Celebrity DeathMatch programme, so we have a decision by plasticine. :lol:

As an artist, Eminem $h!ts over Mariah, but he comes across pretty desperate on this. Plus I found "Relapse" VERY underwhelming.

August 5, 200915 yr Basing on history of those two brilliant acts I'd say team MiMi has me. Sorry Em. Although I disliked Mariah's previous record E=MC2 much her earlier singles were amazing whereas Eminem I always found pretty stable in my likes except maybe for one or two standing-out songs. Fact is Mariah's song is brilliant because it's subtle. Eminem isn't mentioned explicitly and even though we all know it's about him, in five years when nobody can even remember his name, Obsessed can be about whoever she wants it to be about. Eminem on the other hand seems to be under the impression that boasting about spunking on her belly is some sort of achievement? His songwriting randomly went completely down the pan before Encore and since then all he can do is spit playground jibberish that a twelve year old could put to shame. This is a man in the thrust of middle age, for Christ's sake! V embarassing.
