I know! :( Ugh and to think the likes of "Ugly" and "Girls" will be outpeaking it is so frustrating. Speaking of number 7s, "Stronger/Angels With Dirty Faces" actually peaked at #7 and that ended up selling really well for a 3rd single, so maybe AAG make the same compromise. A fourth #8 single would be dreadful but it's still better than missing the top 10 altogether.

I wish Keisha was still in the band for the simple fact that About A Girl would have faired better in the charts. The song deserves it so much. Can't dwell on the past though I suppose.

Actully, things could get more tragic.. what if nodoby downloaed it for the rest of the week and it didn't even make top 20? Haha obviously I know that isn't gonna happen. :lol:

 

But seriously, even #7/8 is beyond where I thought it would chart. I'm actully pretty chuffed this song made top 10. Yeah, sure it totally deserved a better peak but just think of the effect the whole drama had on the sales, this has actully been a sucess considering what's happened recently.

well if u think about it it had no promotion and there is MAJOR competition in the charts so im pleased with top 10 :D

It's very possible About A Girl is only going to get 1 week in the official top 10 now..

It's gonna be a real nailbiter tomorrow, the sales are really close between #6, 7 and 8 so AAG could land in any of those 3 positions. It's safe to say they won't get top 5 now but the best we can hope for is #6.

I doubt it would've done much better, the publicity surrounding the girls has got them in the top 10 tbh.

It's brilliant considering the little promotion, airplay and bad press.

Considering the last minute promotion and the whole Suga-drama 2 months ago, this has done extremely fucking well.. this also proves that the majority of fans that supported 3.0 have gave 4.0 a chance too and supported them, this could be the start of a bright era.

It is the most busy Sugababes forum I think, ever since their official forum moved sites it's been dead and one of the reasons I started posting here was because of how active and informative it was in comparison to their other forums. And if you google search 'Sugababes forum' it comes up as the 3rd result :o
